Pattern Name: Solid Nail Gel
Ok so I recently started learning to do my own nails using gel x nails. I have tried a few nail glues and my nails weren’t lasting longer than two days max. I decided to switch to gel glue and give this a try and let me just say, my nails were not coming off past one week (minus one but that may have been my fault for not sizing one correctly). I removed my nails by choice after a week because I want to freshen my nails and change the colors. I had out this set of nails to the test. I went to the beach and helped my kids build sand castles. I lifted heavy groceries three flights of stairs and kept up with my house cleaning. They were not budging!! It did take me some figuring out at first but not long on how to correctly place them. Definitely requires a nail lamp! I cured for 60s. I would suggest using a flash curing lamp to be able to hold the nail in place with the other hand because it will lift off the nail bed if there is no pressure to hold the nail tips in place when curing. Definitely a great product IMO and look forward to continuing to use it. ... show more

Update: The company reached out to me after leaving the original review to ask if they could try to make it right. They sent an updated version of the primer and glue, along with updated instructions to cure the glue for much longer than the original instructions suggested. I’m currently on day 2 of wearing the nails without issues. Even if they fail quickly again, I really appreciate the support from the company, taking the time to reach out to me and try to resolve the issue, so I’m updating my review based on that. Original review: The nails are adorable and I really liked them for the 24 hours they stayed on! The glue sucks though. The etching stuff never turned the nails “whitish” no matter how much I put on or how much I “scrubbed” (even used a metal dotting tool to help manually etch it since it wasn’t doing anything). The gel glue held for about 24 hours, then they all fell off within a few hours of each other, without even damaging my nails. I’m not mad, just saying I’ve had acrylic polish that has ripped half my nails off, so I’ve never had a false nail come off my brittle nails with no damage. I’m not bothering with them again. Glue is a little tricky to work with as it is a thicker consistency compared to what I’m used too but overall the glue works great! Usually my nails last a few days and fall off these are still going strong after a week!

Product quality is good, but the case it came in arrived cracked into pieces on one corner. There were some sharp pieces of plastic in the shipping package. Some of the nails poured out into the package but I believe all of them are accounted for.

I like that there are 500 nails so that means that you have a lot of nails to do different designs on. They're easy to put on & are super gentle but sturdy after you paint them. My sets usually last.
