Better than I could’ve ever imagined. Happy to see they still make decent kids toys. Perfect for a toddler obsessed with Dad’s saws. It’s a very accurate scaled down Stihl, complete with proper logos and decals. It starts with the pullcord and then the chain moves with the trigger. It’s not very loud (not annoying). Comes with spare chain and tool. Plus an instruction manual that’s a perfect copy of the one that comes with a real saw. Seems fairly well built and should hold up. Well worth the price. My 1 year old started showing interest in his dad's chainsaws and weed eaters in the garage so I went in the hunt for something more his size he could play with. Specifically with a crank on it because that's his favorite part of his dad's chainsaw. This little chainsaw is now one of his favorites to play with! It comes with an extra rubber chain and a tool to change them out. It's very well made and is the perfect size. Will buy from this company again! ... show more

    • Kid loved it but...
I debated giving it 3 or 4 stars but did 4 because my 9 year old loves it. It was a little expensive but my son loved having something close to a real chainsaw. He is into landscaping majorly and loves the stihl brand so this was perfect, at first. He got it on Christmas and went around the house all day with it. On the second or third day, the pull cord broke off. That was the best part of the toy and now it's broken. He likes being able to switch out the fake chains but the end piece uses a tiny screw that if dropped or lost, good luck finding it. It comes with a tool to undo one of the screws but then need your own screw driver for the tiny one. He still loves the toy but ever since the pull cord broke off, he doesn't walk around with it as much now. ... show more

Our daughter wanted to be just like her daddy! She is absolutely loving her Stihl saw so far. It is smaller than I was picturing but no big deal since she loves it! She is ready to cut down some trees and maybe torment our cat!

I’m so glad I spent a little extra on this very nice chainsaw toy! It sounds and looks so realistic when I sent this video to my wife (who was out of town) she freaked out like I had a real chainsaw in the house near our dog! This thing is too cute. My husband is obsessed with it and I know my son will be too as soon as he’s a little older that he’s able to understand lol You turn the power button on but to get it to actually start up, you have to pull start it like an actual chainsaw and then you rev it up with a lever on the handle. The major plus is that it has a volume dial which is absolutely wonderful! ... show more
