I read a review for this suitcase that said the person had ordered this suitcase from the same company and when it came, it had obviously been used before, as it had sand in it. I thought this was a fluke, and against my better judgement, I ordered it. The suitcase is a very pretty teal color, light-weight as it claimed, and just the size I was looking for. I did inspect the inside of the bag, because of the review I had read, and it looked fine. I packed it up and flew to Europe. When unpacking at my first hotel, I found a zippered pocket at the back of the bag that I had not previously noticed. On opening it, there was a half used spray bottle of sun screen - a brand that I have never heard of nor seen before. No one had access to the suitcase but myself, leading me to believe that this suitcase had been purchased and used by someone else, and then returned to the company, who then resold it to me. I was sick thinking about where the bag might have been - bed bugs, dirty clothes, etc. Since I was not told that this was a used bag, I feel that I've been a victim of false advertising. I am disappointed in Amazon and angry at the company this suitcase was sold by.

Perfectly functional and looks nice too. Since we decided to stop trying to squeeze everything into carry on luggage, this is next size up for checked bag. 10 days to two weeks travel not a problem. 4- wheels drive is very easy to maneuver through airports and stations and not clumsy on escalators or stairs. Has all the features we want: plenty of pockets inside, expansion zipper outside, tough exterior fabric, distinctive on baggage carousel. We did remove the fringe gizmo on zipper

My husband and I took this 24" suitcase, as well as the 28" version, on a week-long cruise, and we were very pleased with them both. Not only were they the most attractive pieces of luggage of the many we viewed while both boarding and disembarking, they performed like a dream. The "Shadow" fabric pattern is very classy, yet stands out, as it has a pattern and sheen reminiscent of a reptile. There are also little touches, such as the large zipper pulls, and leather (Genuine?) tassel and corner patches, that add to the visual appeal. There are handles on the top, bottom, and side, which make it easy to pick up and move. The zippers glide easily, as do the multi-directional wheels. The suitcases were so easy to maneuver in tighter spots that would have been such a hassle to negotiate otherwise. The telescopic handle works well, and seems to be sturdy enough. The suitcases have lots of pocket space, both inside and out, and expand to fit more inside contents. The inside holding capacity is also ample, as I estimate the 24" held about 35 pounds, give or take, and the 28" easily held at least 50-60 - both including a few bottles of alcohol we brought back - (and we'd weighed the 28" at about a little under 50 lbs before the trip to not surpass weigh limits). The suitcases themselves are light-weight, and the 24" suitcase fits neatly inside the 28" suitcase. In closing, I would highly recommend these suitcases, as they are 'the whole package.'

This is an elegant luggage and the color is nice. I love the design and the size. However , there is a quality issue that I don't know if it should be addressed by the seller or Amazon (to me, Amazon is the seller). It arrived with cigarette smell, leftover old food and the stitches around the zipper came off. I know it won't even last for one air travel. Amazon CSR kept repeating "You can return it for for credit and order it again." when they know they don't have this color available anymore. This is the first time I purchase from Amazon Warehouse, I know this item might be used and returned, I expect they would at least get the old food out of this luggage and list the broken stitches for me to make a better decision. Better yet, maybe offer a better solution than a 5 d0llars promotion certificate when I reported the issue?! I liked it enough that I think I'll send it to a dry cleaner to get the zipper fixed which will cost me 25-30 d0llars if not more. I just received this luggage a few hours ago, if I find more issues later, I will come back to add to this review.

While I really like my “new” 24” Steve Madden teal blue luggage, but it had clearly been used. I cleaned sand from one of the compartments, the tags were torn off, one was even missing. I needed it for a trip the next day and I love the luggage. The carry on bag that I’ve had longer was clearly new. Love the luggage, not impressed with the vendor.

Great luggage. I love the color and the trim. It’s easy to spot the suitcases on the conveyor belt at the airport. This suitcase has several compartments to put smaller items in. And there are 2 pockets in them that are removable as well. Those pockets are made of plastic and have a zipper as well. They are great for items that may spill while in transit. I used them for a perfume bottle on our way to Aruba this summer. No problems with leaking.

I ordered this piece of luggage for my wife. Her old Nautica bag had been ripped apart by the airlines. Found this Steve Madden luggage and got it for her. She loves it. Has all the features she wanted and has held up so far (although our travel has decreased due to the Covid times we have been in). The luggage is so distinctive that you can tell it is yours right away when it hits the luggage carousel in an airport. it handles well, has pockets to keep things separated and seems pretty sturdy. Good purchase.

I bought this suitcase to take a trip on Amtrak to visit my daughter, so the luggage had to conform to Amtrak's measurement requirements for carry-on pieces. This beauty was perfect, and had so many advantages in addition. It has numerous pockets inside and out, rolls every direction easily, and is lightweight. On top of all its functional wonders, it is gorgeous to look at--black with yellow zippers/trim! If I need an additional piece of luggage in the future, I'll look immediately to this collection!
