So I'm getting too old to be wearing baseball caps all over the place. I've been diving into these ivy, gatsby, mikey, flat, etc etc etc caps. There are lots of variations in shape, look, and textile. But for me, and everyday casual, this is the sweet spot. Its lightweight, it isn't smothering hot, it isnt bulbous or poofy, and to me, it doesn't look so much like an old man hat. I purchased a couple other lesser expensive 'ivy' caps, and while they were ok. They just had an old man look to them that i didnt care for. If you're looking for something you can throw on with a decent pair of jeans, a respectable pair of shoes, and maybe a nice T-shirt or polo, this maybe one worth considering for casual yet classy look. Just note that the fabric does have a lightly distressed look to it, so probably wouldnt do for dressier occasions. Hope this helps! ... show more

Hat arrived in great condition, in recycled paper packaging. Was shipped from Germany, so it took longer than the average Amazon shipment, but just a few weeks. The hat fits great (we followed the size guide posted on the web page), and is of very nice quality. They have real xxl size. It is great to find a hat that fits true to size. One size fits all does not work for all. I appreciate getting xxl and wearing a hat without discomfort. I love it.
