I wear a 7 1/2 size hat and ordered the 7 1/2-7 5/8 and it was way too big. Had to return it. Too bad cause I liked the hat and would've replaced it however it was sent via USPS I 'm concerned about incurring additional charges for buying/returning from this seller. According to their return policy I could face up to 20% of the cost to cover shipping and fees. So I'm not taking a chance ordering another one. Update.... Lots of complements and does a great job keeping the sun off your face. Reduced 1 star because it has developed a faint yellow color like it is covered with pollen but will not wash off. Not sure if its from the wax or what?

This is tied with my Stetson Stampton U.V. protection traveler hat as my favorite hat of all time. This one has a little heavier material than the Stampton so it's a little warmer. I find myself wearing the Stampton a little more often on the hottest days of summer. The outer material of this hat is British Milerain so it holds up in rain well. Overall a great hat year round. The hat came in a plain generic box. The box arrived intact, so the hat appeared to have been crushed before it was packed. After attempts to ease back into form, some stubborn creases remain. Otherwise, the hat seems to be of good quality, fit, and as described.
