I bought these specifically to store snacks for my son’s dorm room and they work perfectly. I was able to pack a good amount of snacks in each one and he could fit four of them perfectly in his dresser drawer. The rest were easily stackable under his bed as each bin base fits perfectly into the indentation on the lid so stacks are stable and don’t slide around. The bins were so good that we packed a lot of his small items into them (toiletries, chargers, medications, etc…) for easy storage and organization. I loved these bins but they appear to have changed since the last time I ordered. What arrived was different from the picture and didn't match have my other style. I guess there was an upgrade in design, as what I recived were round vs the square, rectangleas my others from this vendor. I knocked one star for thay but still the boxes and size expected. The thickness is expected, good qualify. Lid snaps on fine. Clear with white lids. Will protect my shoes. Don't think they are waterproof. Haven't tested ... show more

This actually solves a couple of problems for me. I have a bunch of odd's and end's either electronics and cables. The size and clear body allows for a quick view of the contents for items that still need to be organized or used. Much faster than digging thru a single larger opaque tub.
