    • Should be more sturdy when it’s made for kids

My 4 year old loved the rainbow on the umbrella and was super excited when she got it. She was just playing around inside the house. Just turned it around enjoying the beauty of her new umbrella. But first day before she went to bed one of the threads which holds the umbrella fabric to one of the corner metals broke off and we had to use a new thread to tie it back through the hole to hold the umbrella the way it was. Bottom line is that, it’s not Sturdy. When you make umbrella for kids you need to ensure the design should be such that sturdiness/durability is given top priorities. this umbrella is adorable. keep in mind that It is child size so anything over 9 I would consider buying an alternate umbrella since It may be too small. my little is 6 and It covers her completely. It is not large or oversized for her age. great textured hand grip. the colors are as shown. very vibrant and girly. slides open and closed easily and fits in her back pick with no issues. ... show more

I bought this for my pony loving 2 year old, and it’s the perfect size for her. Her 6 year old sister can use it in a pinch, but it doesn’t shield her AND her backpack from the rain. We’ve been through a few windy walks to school and it hasn’t flipped inside out yet. The plastic on top is stuck on a bit askance and the metal part of the handle is kind of flimsy. This seems well made and durable so far. My daughter really loves this and it’s the perfect size for her (3 years). It’s a super adorable umbrella, worth the long wait for it to finally come. It’s better quality than a lot of toddler umbrellas but def don’t expect it to be toddler proof: if your little person plays with it like a normal Toddler does, it’s bound to have a few issues. Ours got a small hole and one of the ends keeps popping out. It’s not the cheapest quality by any means but buy it knowing that it may not last for years to come in the hands of a toddler. It was time for my son to get his first umbrella as the rainy season has just begun here. We chose the design with the vehicles (trains, cars, planes, etc). I am so glad I chose this umbrella; my son loves it too. It looks great, arrived in good shape and in good time. It has a hooked handle making it easy for my son to hold. He can easily open it and close it. I was worried it would have some latches for opening like adult umbrellas have and that he could pinch his fingers using the umbrella. I am happy to report that there are no latches or push buttons for your little one to get hurt on. He has used it over five times now and it still looks like new. My only complaint is that the only place to write his name on it is on the handle and it does not keep permanent marker on it for long. I may have to add clear nail polish to the permanent marker so he can take it to school and his name won’t come off as easily. All in all, it is a great umbrella for kids. ... show more
