After weeks of researching a new headset for my Xbox, I finally decided on the Arctis 7X+ and couldn't be happier with my choice. My old TurtleBeach headset had served me well but was well past its prime and no longer working. I spent a lot of time reviewing various headsets and was torn between another TurtleBeach and the Arctis 7X+. After reading numerous reviews and watching videos on YouTube, I made my decision and I'm thrilled with it. The sound quality is excellent, and the headset is very comfortable to wear. I especially like the red LED indicator on the mic that shows when it's muted. Although I'm still getting used to the layout, I love it so far. I was initially curious about how the USB-C adapter would work with my Xbox One X, which doesn't have a USB-C port. Thankfully, the headset comes with a USB adapter of decent length, allowing it to connect to a USB port in the back if needed. ... show more

Super high quality sound and microphone. My husnband is in the military so us talking on discord is very important to us, i could be next to my barking dog and the noise cancelation will keep my audio cryctal-clear. Easily one of the best products I've ever purchased

Worked great for the first month with my pc, however constantly having to factory reset the headset and it losing its pairing with the dongle at least once every week at this point has made these a regrettable purchase.     • Great Headphones, Annoying Software
These are pretty good headphones for what I paid when I got them, which was ~$80 on sale during the 2024 game awards. First and foremost, the headphones have very few downsides in my eyes; they have a battery life that is unbelievably long to me (it lasts a week and a half minimum if I am using it for extended periods of time, but can last me over a month); these things only take a couple hours to charge back to full battery. The volume slider doesn't affect system volume, but rather the volume for the headset's output which is nice for having a more precise control over the volume. The USB-C wireless dongle that it comes with works almost flawlessly, but it covers up at least one adjacent USB port on either side of it. You also need to make sure that it is flipped to the correct mode when you use it (XBOX or USB), or else it will not work when you connect it to a device until you flip it back. They work just fine for gaming, listening to music, watching TV shows, movies, videos, and just about anything else. The wireless range isn't the best, but the headphones won't lose connection if you are in the same room as the device you are connected to in my experience. If they are on sale for $100 or less, I would recommend them unless you have something better. If they aren't on sale, I don't think these are worth the cost. On the other hand, the SteelSeries application that you need to install to use this is a pain to attempt to even use. I first learned that I would need to install it when I noticed that my headset had microphone playback enabled by default, which made it impossible for me to actually use the microphone on it because I would hear my own voice talking over me, which made me almost unable to talk for more than a few seconds at a time (this is very much a personal problem, so it may vary by user). The desktop application is tough to navigate, and adds unnecessary customization options, while adding almost no practical customization options for users to use. After having these for like a year . It is worth the buy was able to hear all the footsteps and there comfortable to wear for long periods of time . They charge pretty quick . Works well for Xbox and pc

Sound quality is good, they seem durable. My biggest gripe is they turn off after ~5 minutes of "quiet" So if you finish a phone call and you don't have music playing, theyll turn themselves off. The only app I can find from SS is not for these headphones, and the SS program on the computer has to be open for the timer to be set/work properly, and even then it only goes up to 90 minutes. But for example if you close one game and go to open another, you'll have to re-turn your headphones back on. Not life changing but really annoying. ... show more
