I bought 2 other sets of skid plates before I purchased this set. I wish I would have bought these first. I guess the third time was the charm!!! Price wise this set was the middle of the road, far better quality and better fit then the most expensive. The middle section uses adhesive tape that is provided. Also it fits correctly between the bracket for the wheelie bar. All of the other sets I purchased required modifications to the rear skid plate if you wanted to use your stock wheelie bar bracket. This set installed perfectly! I would definitely purchase again. Buy this set before you buy Integy or the cheap $ 50 set on eBay. Or you’ll be sending them back like I did. ... show more

Protected my XMAXX when hitting a hidden culvert pipe at 50+mph. I had to replace the front shield but that was the only damage to my truck. Bought a 2nd set and wish each piece could be purchased separately.

After shopping around for awhile to find skid plates for my X-Maxx and not being able to find many option I chose to buy these. I thought the price wasn’t too bad and the quality seems good as well. After a few uses I did bend the front bumper/skid plate. I was able to bend it back and I do think it does a good job at protecting the bottom of the truck. I like the way they look on my xmaxx. A has already saved the plastic a tone of times. lol The only thing i noticed that under heavy braking that it causes the xmaxx to do front flipps. lol

Overall pretty good. The pics are after a bash session. I understand it is subject to bending, but will ultimately protect the plastic from blows on objects. Fitment is good, no issues. It is stainless steel, so it will bend rather than break opposed to aluminum products. Hardware is included
