While it is slightly off-putting that this card costs more than its face value, it's convenient not having to go out to a store to buy a gift card, especially for someone who's lazy and hates interacting with strangers like myself. The card shipped very quickly, in fact it arrived 3 days before the minimum estimated arrival date. I was somewhat confused at first because when I pulled out the card it was a $50 card, however I noticed soon after that there were 2 cards in the envelope. I would have preferred recovering 1 $100 card because I'd only have to input 1 code to redeem it, but it's such a minor inconvenience that it doesn't really affect my opinion at all. The Steam gift card is a perfect gift for any gamer in your life! I buy one every Christmas for our college age daughter and for my gamer husband. Our daughter likes the gift card because it gives her some flexibility with finding games and it doesn’t take away from her limited budget. She also likes that she can find some of the old school games that she and her dad played while she was growing up. My husband likes the gift card because Steam has a Summer and Winter sale each year where some of the most popular games of the year are on sale for drastically reduced prices. Edit: I originally gave this product 1 star due to my below complaint; however, Amazon was quick to send me a replacement with expedited delivery so I adjusted the rating accordingly. I bought the $100 gift card to use for the Black Friday sale. It came in today and the code didn't work and a message kept coming up saying the product wasn't activated. I can't find anywhere on Amazon's website to report the issue and will be missing out on the sales that end tomorrow. Very disappointed... ... show more

Went to activate the card and the numerical code rubbed off and was irretrievable. Discovered I had just thrown away $100. Because neither Amazon or the seller would replace the card.
