Description

Most woodworkers eventually realize that cutting to a stop is faster and more consistent than cutting to a line. The challenge is finding a stop that’s easy to set, doesn’t move, flips out of the way cleanly, and allows fine adjustment. Woodpeckers StealthStop was designed to deliver all of that—and adapt easily to almost any miter saw setup. StealthStop is a patent-pending, micro-adjustable flip stop that rides inside the miter gauge slot of Woodpeckers Combo Track. The stop glides smoothly, locks firmly with a simple hex key, and flips completely into the slot when not in use. Flip it out and it locks square and rigid. A brass thumbwheel micro-adjuster lets you dial in exact stop positions with precise control. To make installation practical for real shops, StealthStop supports three mounting configurations. Mount a single track vertically like a traditional fence, flush-mount it horizontally in or on your table, or stack a vertical track on top of a horizontal track. The stacked configuration allows stops to be positioned extremely close together—something conventional systems can’t do. Specially designed brackets link stacked tracks at a perfect 90° angle and also serve as storage for the included screwdriver-handled hex key. The primary components are injection- molded from glass-reinforced polycarbonate with stainless and zinc-plated internals for durability and corrosion resistance. Single-track kits include a 4' track, two stops, mounting brackets, a combination inch/metric adhesive tape, hardware, and hex key. Stacked-track kits add a second 4' track and two additional stops. Made in the USA in Woodpeckers’ Strongsville, Ohio facility.
