Description

Cottage Mills was started in 1991 by Paul Foght with a focus on the craft and scrapbooking markets. His son Jay was his first employee, although he later left the start-up to become a product manager for Fiskars and Uniek. Jay returned to Cottage Mills in 2004 to take over the business. This mat solved my wandering foot pedal issue. I have a carpeted room with a plastic chair mat for my swivel chair in my sewing room. This means the mat is partially on carpet and partially on my chair mat. This pedal mat did not work for me. It did not stay put on the floor and the pedal kept sliding away. Maybe the pedal is just not heavy enough to keep it in place, but that really shouldn't matter. The pressure from my foot would cause the mat to rise up in the middle and then the back of the mat would lift up on the wall. That said, I have two of these mats in the larger size underneath my sewing machines and they work perfectly!! ... show more

These non-stop mats really work. I had problems keeping the foot pedals for my sewing machine and sit down longarm from moving to the point I was stretching to reach them or constantly having to get down to retrieve them. These little mats do the job. No more problems.😊

When I sew in my dinning room, my machine vibrates off the surface of the table, and my foot pedal slides on the carpet. Using your products keeps everything in place. The table pad protects my table from scratches too.
