I needed 2 new desk for our kids homeschool room aka our kitchenette and wanted white legs with the darker wood look top. So, I spray painted the black metal parts a Satin White by Rustoleum. The desk top is mostly smooth therefore you can write with a single sheet of paper and it not cause penmanship issues due to a non-smooth desk top. Grabbed these on sale so out the warehouse and shipped was less than $58, can't beat that price. I like the sturdy cross bars and metal corner stabilizers. No adjustable feet which I overlooked but hasn't impacted us in the area we use them in. Enough room to mount a monitor, house a 11.5 inch Chromebook including a keyboard, mouse and student sheets. Make sure if mounting a monitor it's up against a wall due to monitor weight and potential to tip desk onto monitors back as the desk itself is lightweight. Good value all around. Came packaged well and super easy instructions and all materials to built it with weren't missed (red materials string was hanging out of box) so I knew it had been put into package. ... show more

Ideally, this would be a light-weight, sturdy little desk with convenient hook and pouch. Sadly, this was not to be. I was able to assemble it mostly. The side legs and the crossbars were fine, assembled nicely. I ran into problems with what are labeled 'bar'. These were braces that were to offer extra support between the legs and the table. The problem was that the holes simply did not line up. There was no way to affix these bars to both the leg and the table. The holes were off by about 1 cm, which made it simply impossible. No amount of jiggling and fidgeting would allow me to align both holes. I could not attach these braces. This will no doubt negatively affect how sturdy this desk is. Over time it looks as though the desk will become unstable. This is a serious problem that should be addressed. Given this serious lack of quality control, I cannot recommend this desk; I would not buy it again. It will probably keep my books and paper off the floor, but that's about all I can say about it. ... show more
