    • Bright, Easy to Use, Great Quality
These STARTRC drone lights are bright, seem very well made and several options on connecting the light to your drone are included. To start with, they are quite small but on your drone, they seem to grow as they look big once on drone, depending on the size of drone. I put it on my Mavic 4 and although a larger drone, it definitely stands out. I'm guessing these lights are close to the same size, no matter the brand. it sticks up away from drone more than I like and am glad I used the velcro to attach the light to the top of drone. I went to attach the gimbal cover, the light was in the way. So make sure to think about that when attaching the light.... will it interfere with the arms or gimbal cover on where you attach it? if so, use the velcro so you can attach it and remove it. Smaller drones, not sure where to attach it as i have not tried yet on M4P or M5P or others I have. The quality is great and yes, very bright. Don't look at the light when you turn it on, especially in the dark. it is that bright. The lighting options are very good as you can go solid light, blinking in different styles and do this with on, two, or three colors (red, green, white). The really nice thing is that once you decide on color and how you want it to blink or not, when you turn the light off and back on later, it remembers your last setting. To set the light is a bit of a pain, but not too bad. Just got to remember to not have the light angled to your eyes (LOL). I haven't seen how long the battery lasts, but for the short time (45 minutes) I used it, it stayed illuminated and the light hasn't been charged since when I bought it 6 months back. The battery does not seem to affect drone flight or speed much, if at all. I was still able to scoot 35-45mph with the light attached and the velcro help the light like a champ. It was difficult to take off, due to the strength of the velcro, which is a good thing. Overall, this is a great light and works very well and gives you several options on how to attach it as well as different light settings and colors. I bought it while on sale and felt it is worth every penny if you fly at night or attach it to bottom for easier VLOS. ... show more

I picked up the STARTRC Drone Strobe Light for my drone flights, and it has exceeded my expectations. The light is extremely bright, making my drone easy to spot even at a distance. It’s super lightweight, so it doesn’t affect flight time or stability at all. The installation is quick and secure, and the battery life lasted longer than I expected. I also love that it has multiple light modes, which is great for visibility and safety during evening shoots.     • Good value light for FAA compliance.
Clean LED color, bright, and easy to use. Too large to store in my case, but it fits great on my DJI Mini 3. However, one light has different behavior to change the mode and does not have the same mode as the other. Overall, a good purchase.

    • I ordered it so it would arrive when the 5 did...but
These were great on my mini 3, but not necessary on my mini 5 pro as tge 5 has lights built in. DJI shaped the plastic protector pretty tightly, so that it protects not just the camera and gimbal, but also the propellers, top and bottom. So IMO it would be impractical to add these to the mini 5. Right now, I ll keep these perfectly good lights as a spare for the mini 3, just in case. Again, this is a very good product, so happy to recommend it on drones where there s more room for it. ... show more

    • Be seen at night and day too!
Highly visible and works good! Stays lit and flashing for 4 hours or more per charge. Has my drone up flying night sits of a supercell thunderstorm at night from a distance and the light could be seen for about 1 mile, didn’t want to push my luck with distance at night with a monster storm approaching, but it worked just fine. Several strobe modes, color modes, combo and straight white light mode. Trust me it’s super bright. One tip, don’t look at the strobes when you are figuring out what mode you like: or, use some sunglasses. It will hurt your eyes! (Ask me how I found out!) ... show more
