My 12 year old daughter saved up her own money to buy these and she could not be happier! She had mastered regular skates years ago, but wanted to try these inline skates like her friends have. She was not sure if she would like them or if she would even be able to stand up in them, but they were very easy for her to figure out. I like that they are adjustable and will grow along with her.     • Great first in-line skates—well made, free rolling, easily adjusted, reasonably comfortable.
My daughter has been attending a weekly roller skating "jam" in the big park near us and has been keen to advance from classic 70's four-wheel skates, to in-line. These looked like exactly what we wanted, down to the purple color—and so far have indeed been just that. Fit was a concern as my daughter's feet are somewhat "tall", but these skates adjust well and flexed where they needed to, not unlike ski boots. The size adjustment was easy-peasy. They come with "inserts" but we took those out for a bit more vertical room, and have proven plenty comfortable without them for couple hour skates. The wheels do light up as advertised, but it's a pretty subtle effect—my daughter didn't even notice until I pointed it out. While I imagine not "pro" grade the bearings and wheels are reassuringly solid. Very happy. ... show more

I wanted to like them but I haven't worn them more than once or twice because they hurt my feet..the bottom part is not comfy. I'm not sure why the bottom is so uncomfortable but it is. I tried them on the road..it was pretty bumpy, the glide would be better on a smoother surface
