Sound quality is sub par. The sound abruptly disappears after pressing a key which is very different from a real piano. They could've designed it better so it sounds closer to the real instrument. The volume doesn't go high at all. So if you have small kids pressing keys all day you won't be bothered by it at all because it's quiet! The whole set has smells like cheap plastic which doesn't speak of good quality. Will do for little kids to learn the basics but definitely not a fit for someone whishing to master piano.

I was wanting a keyboard for a while now to try to relearn piano, which I took lessons for as a kid. This is the one I ended up with, and I am pretty happy with it. To start with negatives.... I would have appreciated a little more clear instruction from the manufacturer in terms of how to set things up and use it, but managed to get by anyway. The piano obviously folds up for storage or portability, and when you unfold it there is a very small piece that inserts into the middle to keep it locked in the open position. This seemed ripe for failure if any pressure was put on just one side of the keyboard, and it wasn't until later as I read other reviews that I understood there is also a small dial on the back of the keyboard that you can twist which will also lock it in the open position. This made the whole setup feel more secure. Another issue I ran into was with Bluetooth, I'm not actually sure what I'm supposed to use it for, I was hoping I could use Bluetooth headphones, but couldn't figure out a way to connect them. I'm pretty sure I got my phone connected, but didn't know what good it did. The piano comes with a nice stand to put music or a phone on while you're playing, but I did notice it seemed VERY slimsy when I set an old iPad on it My last complaint about the keyboard is that the keys are very light, so light that it makes it difficult (at least as you're learning) to press the keys with a specific amount of force and get the sound out that you are looking for. It also seems to make it a little more difficult to keep tempo, but that might just be my poor technique! The good news is that this piano has a ton of features and sound effects. It's great that it's a full size keyboard and you have lots of options for different ways that the sound comes out. The added foot pedal and headphones are a really nice addition, and I appreciate that it has an adjustable stand it sits on and straps to hold it in place. There are also plenty of ports and outlets on the back. One thing I didn't even realize initially was that this has a 10 hours battery life, which is fantastic that it doesn't need to be left plugged in all the time. While I don't know how this would compare to other modern keyboards, I feel like this has everything I need to learn to play again, and I would recommend it.

These foldable keyboards are such a great idea. for those who are trying to learn piano. An 88-key keyboard can be big and unwieldy and if you lack the space, it is hard to justify keeping a full-size keyboard especially when you're just starting out. Since this keyboard can be folded in half and stored while not in use, this keyboard is a great choice for beginners. The built-in speakers are not great. While they can get loud, they are not very pleasant sounding. My suggestion is to use the included headphones when practicing. The sound quality is much better through headphones. The instrument sounds in this keyboard is not very realistic or anything special. However, they are sufficient enough to be able to listen to what you're trying to practice. There is no hammer-action in the keys and these keys don't feel weighted like a real piano. This is not a dealbreaker unless you're looking for weighted action keys. The keys also feel like it has a bit of texture which I find to be a bit odd but not enough to be distracting while playing. The one downside to this keyboard is the way it folds and unfolds. Other foldable keyboard has a button that you can press that locks and unlocks the keyboard so that you're able to fold with one hand. This keyboard has a dial at the bottom that is very stiff and difficult to operate. Moreover, the keyboard requires a small piece of plastic to lock the keyboard flat when in a playing position. I've lost that piece twice now and there's really no good way to store it so I won't lose it again. I'm deducting one star due to the difficulty in folding and unfolding compared to other foldable keyboards in the same price range. Nevertheless, I would still recommend this keyboard for those who are looking for a portable solution to learning the piano.
