It does not get loud. You crank it all the way up to 16 and still anybody with the tiniest amount of hearing loss will not hear it. If you’re using a phone app to learn piano, your phone won’t pick it up. But it plays fine and has some fun features. Definitely sounds like a keyboard and not a piano. And though it has 88 keys, they’re just a little smaller and closer together than on more professional keyboards. But it’s portable, so the reduced size probably makes it a little lighter. If you’re looking for a keyboard on a budget, this will get the job done. And you can always plug in headphones to hear it better for yourself. ... show more

We're sending this one back. Spend a little more and get something decent. The keys feel terrible, the sound is not that great. It's a testament to the adage you get what you pay for. We run a music school and have used a wide variety of keyboards over the years. This one just doesn't measure up.

I bought this for one of my daughters, who has expressed interest in learning to play the piano. I didn’t want to invest in a more expensive unit not knowing if this interest will last. It’s perfect, fits well in the space and both the sound and headphone feature are top notch.

I bought this keyboard for my 7 year old daughter for her beginner piano lessons through the Lets Play Music Presto program. It worked amazingly well for the first 6 months. And then it randomly stopped working. We tried batteries, we tried different power cords. Nada. I emailed the company’s customer service and they got back to me within a day requesting pictures and a video showing it not working and we tried some troubleshooting. I sent them a picture trying to get it to work with brand new batteries and the pictures of the different power adapters we tried. They were AMAZING. They sent us a replacement product that arrived fairly quickly and my daughter was able to continue to practice her music. ... show more

I wasn't really sure what to expect tbh. It's better than I expected for the price, considering cheap. The sound quality is pretty good, not amazing, but it does the job. The keys are smaller than average keyboards and pianos but it's easy to adjust to. The keys are also slightly difficult to press down. However, there is an option for weighted touch-> volume. I like that a lot. The sustain pedal works too. Good piano for when you don't have much space and on a budget. ... show more

    • Stand assemble instructions useless, but still wasn't too difficult to figure out
I won't review the piano itself, because I am a complete noob who knows nothing about piano quality, but I will say that the English assembly instructions for the stand are useless, having been very poorly translated, including the sentence: "The location of beam have leveling glue, pls use leveling glue zither to adjust the level after installation" There was nothing at all that could be considered a 'glue', and the only definition of zither I can find on google is a string instrument so that's basically a nonsense sentence. Took me a bit to figure out how to adjust the height, but ultimately the poor instructions weren't too problematic as it was fairly simple. ... show more
