The sizing is very misleading. The description on Amazon says: "Medium is designed to fit most 5 to 7 year olds, 50 to 54-inches tall with a 27 to 30-inch waist, and 29 to 32-inch chest/hips. Large is designed to fit most 8 to 10 year olds, 56 to 60-inches tall with a 31 to 34-inch waist, and 35 to 39-inch chest/hips." My son is 54 inches, so thinking the Medium could be a touch small, I went with the Large, and when the package came it was printed on it that Large is size US size 12-14. As you can see in the picture, the Large really is a 12-14 and not meant for 8-10 year olds. I'm annoyed at having to pay to send this back when I was following their description/information, Star Wars VII: The Force Awakens Deluxe Child's Stormtrooper Costume and Mask, Large but there is no way to make it work for him. ... show more

Nice costume for the money. My Son loves it. I Ordered a M ( 8-10 ) my son typically wears a 7. So it’s a little big and a tad long but at least he has enough room to wear something thin underneath. The material is really thin, however wearing a pair of thermals underneath should help keep warm. Overall, very pleased with the costume. ... show more

My son is obsessed with Star Wars. We had looked at the store versions of this costume but were not impressed with the quality. I am definitely glad we waited and bought this online instead. It doesn't feel cheap and look like it will rip as soon as he bends over. The only thing I wasn't sure I liked at first was that the boots are attached to the costume. When it gets washed they get tangled up a bit and I have to unwind them before he can wear them. I think they would have been lost by now so it's probably good that they are attached. I was very pleased with this costume for my 10 year old. Originally I had ordered another stormtrooper costume, but the delivery date changed so I had to order this to be on time. I'm so glad I did. This costume was a much better purchase. It has some thicker fabric. My son has worn this many times and was even wrestling his friends in it with no damage to the costume. This is the first time I've ever written an amazon review and I've ordered from amazon prime at least twice a week for the past few years. I ordered a size large for my 8 year old son (who is tall for his age) following the sizing instructions. It arrived a size 14... huge... I could fit in it. Wouldn't be a big deal except that halloween is in a few days and every other costume he wants to order in its place isn't available until Nov 1st... after halloween. I recently purchased this in medium for my 6 year old daughter. She is probablly 44" tall and wears size 7 pants and 10/12 shirts. We like our costumes to fit a little big because we layer clothing underneath since it's usually pretty cold when we go trick or treating. This looked like it was going to be way to long/big to fit my daughter, but once I got it on her, it looked like it will work out great.
