As a display item to mess around with now and then, you can't beat this. No, it won't get you accepted into any overzealous costuming groups, but it will pass for a lot of lesser needs and more laid back groups. You may or may not have a circle on top of yours from the molding process. Each piece is awesome. Magnetic snaps do a lot of the work. The audio is not bad at all, though I don't love where they placed the button. All that said, it's the centerpiece in our Black Series helmet collection. Very cool. Fun. Good looking. Not a collector or anything. Bought for my son who’s been asking for a “realistic” full Darth Vader mask. He absolutely loves it. Quality is great for the price. Looks good. Bought for my 7 year old son. Fits well enough on him but made for adults. The rim hurts his neck but I put a scarf there and it was fine. Definitely for an adult but man is this worth it for any age. Would look good on wall. Comes in 3 pieces which really adds to the visuals over the other helmets.

Just like the other review, I preordered this item when it had a January 2023 release date. I was thoroughly surprised to get a notification that my order was going to ship a lot sooner than expected! The packaging it came in is high quality and the helmet is no less. This is the real deal and you get what you pay for. I cant picture myself wearing this for cosplay since I’m way shorter than Lord Vader and the helmet to height ratio makes it look goofy, but I do intend to buy a stand for this and display it in all its glory. This helmet is based on the Obi Wan series, so don’t expect the high glossy black finish like from the original trilogy. The upper piece is gloss black, but the main helmet piece is more of a matte steel black finish. The magnets that piece it together are pretty strong, so it takes some force to remove the collar and the helmet apart. The sound FX are great when assembling and disassembling the helmet. All in all, I’m very satisfied with my purchase. But as stated earlier, the price is steep but you get what you pay for. It’s a very solid piece of Star Wars merchandise and every fan should have some version of a Vader helmet. ... show more

Me and my wife are having a block party for Halloween with friends and neighbors and a few of us are dressing up and we decorate the yard and house and sit outside and pass out candy I am a big Star Wars fan and this year I am going to be Darth Vader this is an AWESOME!! helment and looks and sounds AMAZING!! It arrived a few days early I love it !! I feel like a kid again when I wear this with the rest of the suit I definitely recommend to get one for those Stars Wars fans I am not a big guy and I was impressed by how big it is but it fits perfect and I am going to wear it to go bowling with a few friends just to see how people react lol your never to old to have fun live is too short so have while you can no matter what your age is ... show more
