Bulky (I'm a 6 foot adult male, I can only imagine how ridiculousthis would be for a child to hold), not comfortable to hold (there are bumps and protrusions that dig into your hand), and worst of all, it doesn't collapse all the way, so you perpetually have about 10 inches of lightsaber out at all times. My 5 year old playing with me, not super rough broke both blades in less than an hour. We have other lightsabers that did not break, but while these look and sound cool, they break way too easy.

Got this for my son, but I ended up playing with it more. The ability to "forge" or make the lightsaber is so fun. You can also mix and match parts to create unique lightsabers out of different sets. My wife had to tell me to stop buying loghtsabers.... So far we have an Obi Wan, Darth Vader, Mace Windu, and Luke Skywalker. ... show more
