We use it to create an aurora lightshow on his ceiling at night and to play via wifi connection his sleep stories via the Calm app. I live in an 170+ year old house with thick plaster and lathe walls and the wifi adapter picks up from my phone just fine from across the very large house. This creates such a beautiful light around my kiddo's bedroom. I like that you can choose from different colors, and to have "stars" or not with the wavy aurora-like light. There is a timer, for going to sleep with it on as well. Haven't used the bluetooth feature and honestly, I'd prefer it just to be the light, but it's fine to just not use that feature. We put it in the middle of the room and it lights up all around the ceiling and walls -- really immersive! Very relaxing and creates a cool environment in the room. A few minor cons/things to be aware of: I did notice that if it is near a TV when the remote is used, it can start to glitch and needs to be unplugged/plugged back in (but it does state in the instructions not to have next to TV). So, just be careful where you aim the remote(s), haha. Also, the light from the lamp is VERY bright, so you can't look right at it. Best to leave it on the floor (we keep it in the middle of the room when using) or somewhere not in eye-sight. ... show more

I am in my late 40's and love this light projector! I have my own office with my LED lights and this is a great addition. I love that there are options to adjust the colors to your liking or even turn off the stars. Great for a little extra dopamine in your life and so relaxing with the pretty colors and movement. I have owned another sky projector that did not have the added movement effect and this is MUCH better. I gave the other one away. The remote makes it easy and convenient to change the effects. Projects to the whole ceiling from my son's desk. He loves that he can also use the Bluetooth to listen to music. Wouldn't recommend putting it near a TV or in the same room as a TV. Our TV remote turned it off, not sure what that's about. Otherwise great

I'll start with the positives and go from there. It is beautiful! The stars, colors, and aurora are breathtaking!! That being said, it is the only positive thing I have to say about this product. 1. Bluetooth mode is bad. 2. Sound quality is bad. 3. Quality is OK. We dropped it on carper and it didn't break so 👍 4. I have to unplug it and replug to get it to turn on!! 5. Remote only works if it is already on (see above complaint) 6. It shifts between modes, albeit briefly, instead of just being set?? (If both aurora and stars are activated, one with fade off and back on occasionally [could have been a stated feature, idk, I tried changing it and couldn't]) 7. It's kinda awkward finding a good place to put it. So that's it. It looks good, otherwise annoying. Will not buy or gift, personally. 3 stars only because it's so damn pretty. ... show more

I absolutely adore this. I got it right after my first ketamine treatment for depression (they had one in the room) and it's been so soothing to use every night while winding down and falling asleep. It stays on automatically for four hours, or you can choose two hours or one hour on the remote. The lights have a few brightness options, which is ideal. You can play with the combination of colors and turn off the "stars". I like that when you unplug it, it resets everything, but when it just turns off it saves your settings. The most annoying thing is positioning it. It can being glaringly bright if you accidentally look into it, and can be difficult to get the right angle... but I still love it so much I recommend figuring that part out. ... show more
