STAR BRITE Premium RV Guard Speed Detailer & Protectant uses high-tech polymers that bond to painted surfaces, polished metal, and fiberglass to add shine, enhance color and provide a barrier to UV damage. Safe for use on painted surfaces, chrome, stainless steel, aluminum, rubber, fiberglass and plastic surfaces. For best results, apply to surfaces that are cool to the touch. Spray onto the surface to be cleaned and wipe using a soft cloth, rubbing lightly as needed on any deposits. Wipe up excess. Use as often as needed. • Just okay
This was okay. I think there are better cleaners out there for RVs. But for the cost it works fine.

    • It's Ok
It didn't live up to our expectations. My husband used it to wipe off the bugs that have gravitated towards the car this summer. It didn't clean it off like it promised. We tried it again, thinking maybe it was a fluke and it still didn't clean off the van. We ended up taking the van to the car wash and then used the product afterwards. It seems like it's a lot of work just to keep the van buffed and shiny. It's ok if you're into detailing your car, but other than that, it's not really a necessary product in our household. ... show more

    • good for road bikes too!
This product isn’t marketed towards bicycles but I use for my road bike. After a deep cleaning I spray it on my bike to polish and protect it. My Bianchi is a beautiful high-gloss celeste blue and the Star brite spray really makes it pop. I also used it for a quick cleaning. It removes dirt easily although grease takes a little more work. I’ll spray it all over my bike and wipe off the dirt and it really shines. It has a pleasant scent but be warned that the smell is strong and it lingers. I store my bike in the garage and after using it my garage continues to hold the scent. Like I said, it’s a pleasant scent but it’s a little overpowering. That’s why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. The scent does fade after a few days though and if you’re using this product on something that’s kept outside I don’t think this will be an issue. When using Star Brite it seems like I have to clean my bike less frequently. I’m guessing that has to do with the protective and polishing qualities of the product. Also, being in Florida UV protection is a good thing. Previously I had been using watered down Simple Green for quick cleaning of my bike and while Simple Green cleans great it didn’t produce the same shine as Star Brite. I would buy this again. ... show more

    • Shiny goodness
This detail/protection spray is a difficult item to review. It would require long term evaluation to determine if the UV protection stands up to its claims. So with that, I can't speak to the UV, but as a detailing spray, this product works great. We took our travel trailer out for the first time this season a few weeks ago. Upon our return, we washed the trailer, and used this for spot cleaning and full unit protection. It worked great at removing bug splatter and the common RV water spots/streaks. It was easy on and easy off. Spray on, wipe, let haze, and wipe off. It left a nice shine across the entire trailer. It even smells good, so no nasty chemical smells to deal with. And fortunately, it had no negative affect on any of the trailer's surfaces, including the stickers. We are very pleased with the product, and there is plenty for multiple treatments. We hope the product lives up to the UV claims. The cost is comparable to other auto detailing spray, so this is an easy choice to make your RV sparkly clean, and hopefully protected from the elements. ... show more

    • Star Brite Cleaner
The Star Brite Premium RV Guard seems to be a very good product. I tried it on my boat after it had sat outside for the winter. The boat had scuffs from the docking, dirt, some old dried plant matter and a bit of grease on it. Using an old towel to wipe it, I liberally sprayed the Star Brite on the boat side, wiped and scrubbed it off. It took everything off except the scuffs and left a nice shine on the boat. It really didn't take much effort, just a bit of rubbing in some areas. I wanted to try the Star Brite without washing the boat first, just to test it. I don't believe washing it ahead of the Star Brite would have made much of a difference. If I was doing something as large as a RV, I would probably get the gallon liquid rather than the spray. I used up about a quarter of the spray bottle on the boat. ... show more
