The material of the pan seems like high quality stainless steel. I have not cooked on it yet, but I cook on stainless steel frequently and should have no problems searing, cleaning etc. The reason why I’m not totally satisfied with this pan is the size and quality of the plastic plates and utensils. The pan is definitely small. The pan is about 8” inches diameter with a slightly smaller cook surface. I was hoping to be able to cook for two at a time but I don’t think that it’s big enough for that. The plates are a little flimsy and small of course. I will likely be replacing the plastic utensils for a more robust spatula/sporks as well. All in all it is a nice compact camping set but I wish pan dimensions were listed. ... show more

This works great with an induction burner, and with the blackstone independent single side burner. It both looks great, and very functional. As a portable camping kitchen set (if you plan to pack lightly) the wildfire core works perfectly for my needs. This was a good purchase.
