This vacuum is incredible. Easy to use. Picks up super fast. Suction is incredible. Super functional: compact yet powerful to get in those tight spaces. Looks awesome and is durable with a stainless steel body. Used it to vacuum both water in the crawlspace and it's the perfect size for that (anything over 5 gallons crawling out a crawlspace would not be ideal). Just remember to take the blue filter off when vacuuming water, and the dust bag too! Did a big project where I was throwing around sawdust like snow and it got all that up. Broke a glass in the process and got that up too. Pretty much just sucks up anything! Love it! ... show more

    • Nice little shop vacuum. Good suction, fairly quiet, easy to move around. Stainless tub is nice.
I bought this shop vacuum to replace a larger, heavier, louder shop vacuum which had a switch problem. I wanted a smaller vacuum that could handle all the usual filter choices like a throw-away bag, a reusable cloth bag, a filter foam sleeve and an optional pleated cartridge. This Stanley vacuum can handle them all. I also like the compact 5 gallon size which is perfect for most uses and makes this vacuum easier to move around and store. The only thing that could be improved, in my opinion, is better accessory storage on the vacuum. I prefer to drop the straight extension pieces into a hole rather than stick them onto a peg at the four corners of the caster cart. They're tricky to remove from the tight pegs with one hand. Otherwise I'm happy with this vacuum and recommend it. UPDATE: I found this vacuum has a nice, soft, flexible extension cord instead of a cheap, stiff vinyl covered cord, you know the type. I wish more manufacturers would take a cue from Stanley on this. It's the little things that make this vacuum a pleasure to use. ... show more

The best vacuum I've ever used. Have a small woodshop in garage, and there is no real way to use a normal vacuum to clean the sawdust. This machine does the trick. The many attachments make the use of the machine way better
