I have one with a straw, which is fine. It has its moments. But I really love this one because I can just open it and drink it. It’s really good for when I’m out and I just wanted to drink some water right away. It holds more than my 30 ounce, plus it keeps their ice longer. It does not fit the cupholder in my car. This bottle keeps drinks and ice very cold all day and I have zero complaints about the bottle itself, that is 5 stars all-around. I bought this type of cap because I did not want a straw and prefer a quick opening sports cap, but I really hate this cap! I am always on the go when taking a drink-- I am a teacher and so I need a quick-open and chug style so I can get back to helping students. At the gym while using equipment I also prefer a quick open and chug style. With this cap, any "chugging" creates leaks down your face and I feel like I am never getting a good "sip" because it is leaking everywhere. Not to mention the ice clogs up the hole and then its just slow-flo. This cap is great if you are a slow sipper or if drinking a hot beverage. I find I take the cap off completely when I want to take a good drink without making a mess.
