Traditional Stanley thermos, the absolute best of the Stanley line. Don’t get me wrong. This is no pre 2009 Stanley. Honestly they don’t make them like they used to. I remember 40 + years ago my grandfather taking one just like this out into the woods to go hunting for the weekend, or to work with him for the day with a full pot of coffee in it. Back then Stanley used charcoal dust in between the layers of stainless steel as insulation. Today, they use thicker steel but you know what? It still keeps hot liquids hot and cold liquids cold for over 12 hours!!. Prime example I made a thermos of hot cocoa for my husband and I. We drove 5 hours out of town for an overnight trip deep into the snowy mountains. When making the hot cocoa, I used boiling water from the electric kettle. We drank some about 7 hours after making it. Left the thermos in the truck over night, in the cold (20°F) and over 24 hours later when I brought the thermos inside to wash out, the cocoa that was left poured out with a light STEAM!!! Need I say more? Ok I will. This thermos has a tight lid that includes a cup for drinking, it’s leak proof, and doesn’t sweat. They are extremely durable. It can withstand drops and they say can even withstand fires and being run over by vehicles (although I didn’t test these theory’s ) Wile I like the new 40 oz tumbler style Stanley has become popular for over in recent years years, its important to know these are NOT THE SAME. This thermos works great. It kept my soup warm for over 8 hours. The handle which can be used as a cup was very convenient. It was a little heavy but it serves its purpose. Yes, it’s a good thermos. It’s large, so you can pour in a lot of tea. I usually take it with me when I go for a walk in the forest or when I’m driving somewhere. I take my travel mug, brew a full thermos of tea, and pour tea into the mug along the way. It keeps the tea warm quite well.

I love it!!! It keeps my coffee hot for over 24 hours. Super easy to use pour spout and the handle is nice and sturdy. As a trucker, I recommend this if you're unable to stop very often to get fresh coffee.
