This is not terribly big but it holds quite a bit. It is perfect for hauling snacks and sandwiches to sports events for my younger kids while we watch the older kids. With lots of kids and lots of coming and going, stuff gets shoved and dropped and stuffed and stepped on. This is a large well-built lunch box. It has enough capacity to hold a lot of food in the bottom and a big flask in the lid. I needed something big enough to hold several pieces of delicate fruit along with my other meal and this definitely fulfills my needs. For the complaints of it sweating- well yeah its a non insulated metal box. However, the gaps at the back do let dust and small debris in. But it is sturdy, fits my stanley food jar in the lid securely, and the rest holds a good amount of food. After using it for almost two months, I've been pleased with it. I'm a midnight shift law enforcement officer and since COVID, we only have 4 options to eat at overnight. This has allowed me to bring from home better/healthier choices and at a substantial $ savings. I carry a utensil kit , seasoning kit , and a couple of meal options everynight. I have the good fortune that my office has a break room with a microwave and toaster oven to warm food up. It's held up well as I place it in the passenger floorboard of my patrol car till dinner time. I bought the 24oz food jar (thermos) so I can take left overs from dinner, like potatoe soup, with me. Otherwise some easy microwave dinners or other leftovers fit nicely in the box. I carry a utensil pouch with spoon, fork, knife, steak knife, salt and pepper, and additional spices for the dinner of the evening. It's really done what I expected it to. My 70+ year old mother chuckled when she saw it as she said it's what her father carried to work everyday. Is it perfect for my everyday personal lunch situation? It fits me with the lunchbox, the insulated food jar and the 40oz stanley coffee/ tea/hot chocolate thermos.
