I hardly EVER write an Amazon review, but these curtains are simply STUNNING. One reviewer noted that if you use the tabs for the look in the picture you will lose width and that's true, but they are so pretty when you do that. Sorry I don't have a picture, they are in storage now for winter. The color is VERY hard to find in velvet curtains as well. I spent hours. If you have beige or warm undertones in your decor, these will complement it very nicely. From one very picky shopper, buy these curtains, you won't be diappointed. ... show more

I'd say the look is beyond beautiful but you lose almost half the width due to the tabs. 52 true width by with tabs and how they fall with a necessary pleats to floor the width becomes 30 inches as best altogether you get 60 inches my window is 69 inches wide I assumed 52 per panel would cover window with 104 you lose total of 44 inches just by construction and design so buyer beware I have to purchase another set to make it work. I don't want to buy a pair as I need 3 to complete the look and they don't sell single panels I'm paying double now for only the one panel I and waste money on the one I won't use. I hope the rods with take the exta weight because these are really heavy. I may need to reinforce rods. I didn't return because I love how it looks. I included photo face on and one side view show you it doesn't even cover the whole window ... show more

I was sadly disappointed with these curtains. They're a beautiful color and are a nice, heavy, quality material, but you have to assemble the twist top! It's not very hard to do, but the band that goes around the twist top is not secured in place (unless you sew it) which means that it will move up and down when you open and close the curtains. I'd be constantly having to straighten out the twist top, which would drive me crazy. Had to send them back. ... show more

I bought these for my son’s room. They are heavy, long, and thick. That nice David Lynch perfect gem-tone blue velvet. They do block out about 96% of the outside light, which is great for putting my child down for naps/bedtime (see photos, flash on flash off). I like to think they muffle sound as well. Ok I know I may be the only person to ever pair this mustard color gold curtains with a cotton candy pink wall!!!! (It wasn’t supposed to be THAT pink) but anyway I love these curtains!!! They help Hold heat in the house decreasing my energy bill. They black out light because I hung them above the window frame. I love the thickness, the design, the feel- so soft so great for behind my daughters bed. They look designer/expensive. I love them!!! My daughter- eh not so much but she’s 16 and I designed the room not her, she’d rather have band posters on her wall. The advertised photo is very deceiving. These are not “warm yellow” or even golden. They’re just ORANGE. I’ve laid the package on my mustard-colored throw pillow for a comparison pic.
