We bought this desk for my teenage son to use, and we had no issues putting it together. Just follow the instructions and take your time, and it works fine. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a “natural” colored desktop, what we got was “oak”. It’s an orange-looking veneer, and the box says oak. It’s probably not worth disassembling the thing, trying to box it up, and returning it. ... show more

I was worried when it arrived as the box was heavy and a little dented. I was very surprised and pleased when I opened it...I have NEVER seen a better packing job. All parts were well protected, undamaged, and some small parts had extras in case something got lost. I followed the instructions and assembly was uneventful. This wasn’t too expensive so I guess you get what you pay for. It looks nice and presentable, put together easy enough. The negatives are it doesn’t seem super stable. It can sway a bit and then if you raise it, it’s just even more unstable feeling. We don’t really plan to use it a lot as a standing desk, just wanted that option so we are fine with it but I was disappointed by how unstable it felt. The top is just pressed wood. ... show more

Assembly was not as easy as I would have hoped. Once it was put together, it works great. The line=up of the screws holes could have been better but overall its a solid desk. I really like the 3 preset options you can set it to auto ascend or descend to. I highly recommend this desk for its price.
