This lot includes 100 ALL DIFFERENT mint US stamps. (Actually, more like 105.) Stamps range from the 1930s to more recent. All are mint, never-hinged and in excellent collectible shape. Lots will include many featured commemoratives and even intact se-tenant issues. Stamps will be shipped in glassine envelopes. The face value of the lot I was sent came to $5.72. Most of the stamps were either 3 cents or 4 cents. Some nice Christmas ones, ones for specific states, and I great one of Robert Frost. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase and look forward to using them for postcrossing.

I am an avid swapper of snail mail on SwapBot. Many people use really cool old stamps to send letters and postcards and I frequently wonder where the stamps come from. I was sure that people weren't pulling out their great grandmother's stamp collection and "getting some use out of them" - or were they? One day while perusing Amazon, I searched for vintage milk caps and this lot of stamps came up. I finally figured out where all these wonderfully vintage stamps were coming from!!! I placed my order and received a nice envelope with 100 mint stamps in it. They really are in new, mint condition. These look like I could have pulled them out of my grandmother's stamp collection - or her wallet - 30 years ago!! I got a super cool Nevada statehood stamp in my randomly compiled set of 100. I'm keeping that for myself. I definitely recommend this lot to anyone that's looking to start a stamp collection or maybe to spruce up your snail mail with lots of fun stamp designs. I am happy with this purchase and will likely buy another 100 sometime in the future. People are concerned about the "value" and whether you "actually" get the monetary value in the stamps received. Who knows. There's at MINIMUM $6 worth of stamps in my envelope based on a quick rifle through of what was sent That wasn't really a concern for me as I believe $10 is a great deal for this many vintage stamps that I can add to my mail. ... show more

I love classic stamps. They give a small, tangible peek into history. This set of mixed vintage stamps was such a delight to get and to sort through. As stated in the description, there were no duplicates in mine. None were used and each is in excellent condition considering its age. I will definitely be ordering again! There were only a few that were duplicates and I'm okay with that. My intention was to just use them randomly on mail just for fun, but because they were all different I think I want to keep these all for myself! All the stamps are only a few cents (face value). The highest being maybe 20 cents. Envelope arrived as insured mail and was mailed using postage stamps, which I completely love. I have to tell everyone that tracking is not up to date and is not the seller's fault. I would advise to be patient. I signed up for USPS informed delivery and that's how I knew to expect it. Only I got the email with the scanned image on a Wednesday and didn't receive it until the following Tuesday. So don't throw a fit just yet. Give it some reasonable time. Amazon still is saying this is arriving late when I already have it haha. Who knows anymore. The stamps were all in a glassine envelope, which was then wrapped with plastic wrap.
