We renovated our kitchen, and our fixtures are now matte black instead of chrome. So I tossed the chrome paper towel holder I had, and opted for this one. I was specifically looking in reviews for one that you could use one handed. The other flimsy chrome one I had before, was terrible and you had to always used 2 hands or it would knock over. This one is nice and heavy, holds paper towels tight and also has suction cups, so you can absolutely use one hand every single time! Plus it looks nice, it’s a matte black like my faucets and pot filler.

I was so tired of trying to take a piece off the roll under the counter and have the whole roll fall off or the whole roll unraveled. We remodeled the kitchen and I bought this one because of the great reviews. There were cheaper stand alone ones but the reviews were bad. So far this is great, stays in place and can't fall off.

Smart Design: One of the things that caught my attention is the thoughtful design of this paper towel holder. As you pull out the towel, you'll notice little clicks that provide just the right amount of resistance. This gives you a convenient point to pull against, ensuring that you get the perfect amount of paper towel each time. Suction Cups for Stability: The suction cups on the base of the holder work like a charm on my stone countertops. They provide a strong grip, preventing the holder from sliding around while I'm pulling a paper towel. This adds an extra layer of stability, which is really appreciated. Installation Tip: There's one thing you'll want to keep in mind during installation. Make sure you put the paper towel roll on the holder the right way. If you put it on to pull to the left, it can slowly unscrew the spindle over time. However, this is a minor issue that can easily be fixed with some Loctite or a similar adhesive.

It really works great! It has suction power at the bottom to help it from moving or sliding around. You are able to tear one paper towel using one hand without extras tearing and it tipping over. I would definitely recommend this item.

The suction cups work so well that if you ever need to move it you may want to try a pry bar under the base. My teenagers just rip it off the counter if they need to move it as you sometimes do, and it actually pulls and bends the screw holding the stem into the base. This causes a catastrophe when you one hand it, trying to multi-task and the whole thing comes crushing down in a heap on the counter. It is sturdy and looks good. Hopefully the weighted base is enough to keep it stationary without the suction.

Excellent control when tearing a sheet - doesn't spin. It doesn't rock when pulling or tearing the sheets due to the strong suction cups. I would definitely recommend this towel holder.

I'm grateful for the suction cups at the base of the paper towel holder because it stays wherever you choose to place it. It's very sturdy and screws easily together and it comes in a variety of different colors to match your kitchen. The size is perfect even for double rolls which our family uses. We don't knock the grinders over anymore when we need to grab a paper towel which saves us such a hassle of chasing down rolling stuff from the table. I wish we would've bought this a long time ago to save us quite a few messes. I'm so happy this purchase was made.
