When I bought this for some reason I expected a solid piece of steel that would get cold and hold that temperature long enough to actually cool your drink but these are hollow and after sticking them in the fridge for many hours and then being very cold when I pulled them out I put them in a glass poured just a little bit of whiskey over it gave it a moment to cool down and the whiskey was still warm along with the ice cubes. They don't hold temperature whatsoever. Unless you're planning on pegging people with these they're completely useless ... show more

These cubes appear to be hollow. They certainly are not solid metal. They do not have much heat capacity. They don't cool the drink significantly. Don't waste your money.
