These are beautiful and we have bought 4 sets over the past couple years because we have Airbnbs. They are the perfect size and weight. I notice some buyers complain that the spoons are too large and the forks too small. There are actually two sizes of each: salad fork (small), dinner fork (large) and tea spoon (small) and soup spoon (large) so I am guessing that those buyers have never seen a full set of flatware. ... show more

Some of the pieces had light scratches on them; none very bad, but still, one expects no scratches on something brand new. One of the larger spoons was slightly misshapen, I was able to correct that. After reading on various websites about 18/10 quality flatware, especially information concerning the differing composition for the knives which can result in rusting problems in a dishwasher, I've decided I wasn't taking any chances and I hand wash all of these in the sink, using a soft sponge and a microfiber towel to dry them. There are only two of us and it only takes a few minutes. I enjoy the lustrous finish and smooth edges and I want to preserve the finish. I have a slightly fancier set I use only for company; they are going on 10 years old and have only been hand washed and they still look great. This flatware has a nice weight to it, good balance and their size and elegance is just right for what we want. ... show more

I admit it…I married a tableware snob. It all began when we realized that 3 spoons were missing from our drawer following a dishwasher unload. I actually received a call asking if I knew where they might be. I hesitantly admitted the I had one I had taken to work in my lunch box. I arrived home to assist in the search for the remaining 2 spoons. We gave up and began to discuss how to get replacements: both of us hate to shop. We landed on Amazon…I searched for an embarrassing amount of time reading each review. We finally found a set we agreed on (meanwhile, 2 children graduated high school). The tableware arrived: my first thought was, lesson learned. My spouse was disappointed and talked immediately about returning them. They look nice enough but the spoons don’t appear to have the bowl depth of average spoons (these are a bit shallow) and the forks are what they are. The fork tines have a more flat presentation (not the lift like most forks. We both liked the knives. We agree with the reviewer who wrote that they seem chintzy. I know, your wondering what we will do. We will use them short term until we happen to be in a store that sells tableware…then we will buy a new set and dump these on one of our children. An update.... Found one of our old spoons in the freezer. We have been using the tableware and it has made several cycles through the dishwasher. Note the 3rd photo shows that a "rust" type of mark (upper part of spoon just left of the middle). So far only one piece has the issue. ... show more

I've been frustrated with the plastic-handled silverware that my roommate and I have had in our apartment for years, so I came to Amazon to upgrade them. I'm really really please with my new set of flatware from Dokaworld. They look shiny and high quality, and are much more comfortable than the plastic-handled set I had before. My roommate and I are not gentle on our possessions but these STILL look as good as new after washing them a few times in the dishwasher and in the sink. You can tell the design from the photos on the listing which are accurate... I like the design because I wanted something that didn't stick out too much but felt simple and high-quality. My one comment on the design is that the sizes of the spoons and forks is perfect for everyday use. The listing mentions you could use the box for storage... I would definitely not do this. The box is not that nice and it's better to keep silverware in a drawer anyway. I just immediately threw out the box. In summary, this set is awesome quality, particularly for the price. If you're looking for a standard set of flatware that feels good, works well, and will last forever, check these out! ... show more
