It tightens stainless zip ties and cuts them, and feels solid. I'll try to remember to update my review if this breaks more quickly than expected, but it's heavy in the hand and feels sturdy. I expected it to feed the zip tie, but it doesn't, it just pulls it tight, then you have to manually slide the jaws down to the head. The only real disadvantage to this tool is that it's much bigger than what I was previously using (a 10mm socket with a slit cut in it), so you might not be able to reach some tight spots with it...so you might need a plan B if you come across one. The tool is fine, but the ties that came with it are harder to get started than other stainless zip ties I've used. ... show more

I have been using stainless steel ties for a while, but I've always had to crank on them with a pair of pliers, and hope for a good tight fitment. Now I've got the right tool, and it's a total headache saver. These pliers make cinching down the cable tie effortlessly easy, and then the onboard cutter does a really decent job of (nearly) flush cutting the tie. Probably safe to get in there with a small file or some sandpaper, to soften down any sharp edge left over from the cutter, but it does a pretty good job on its own. The 200pcs of SS tie is an awesome value to be included, and they hold together well. There aren't any included instructions, so check out the fourth image on the listing to follow along. It's pretty intuitive once you get the hang of it. 5/5! ... show more

Once you figure out how to use it, this makes tightening metals it ties so much easier than trying to do it by hand. So far I have used it for over 30 zip ties and have enjoyed every single use of it thus far. I'm surprised I didn't try using one of these before the many I have done by hand (mostly the secure things like pigeons spikes). ... show more

I love this thing. Fantastic for those jobs where nylon zipties won't work because they weaken as they age and break. These stainless steel ones will stay strong and tight forever. The crimper like tool tightens up the tie by squeezing the handle, and the rod turns to cut the excess off. This comes with 200 stainless great sized ties, a big handful that should last a long time, and so should the tool.
