Hardly any crumbling, just a few little bits here and there but nothing messy. I needed a vinyl eraser for art class and I hesitantly chose this 4-pack because it was literally cheaper than a single eraser! These are durable, effective, and well worth the price. I would not use these for a lot of precise erasing, but I haven't had any problems with the eraser. I will note for people looking for this specifically that these are not dust free. I find them to have average dust. Some reviews say they "crumble" but they aren't doing that for me. Little rolls of the eraser will come off with use, but no more than a standard pink eraser for school. None of the erasers were missing from my package. However, the glue holding the package together was very weak, and seemed to be entirely missing on one side. Overall, these are excellent erasers, and I will buy them, and other products from this brand, again! ... show more
