This is a product that has a huge range of quality, and cheaper versions tend to have texture issues (usually too hard for artist grade and quality paper or they tend to smudge the surface. I recently bought this eraser and have been pretty satisfied. It removes pencil marks cleanly without leaving behind much residue or smudging the paper, which is a huge plus.
