I ordered it in navy blue, to complete the seating arrangement on my porch, which is white and navy, with accents of jute and wicker. A sharp, classic color combination. I thought that the synthetic finish of the HDPE would be plain, and a little cheap looking, and I'd have preferred real wood, for a more organic look, but I was pleasantly surprised that even in navy, it has a wood grain effect, and I'm thrilled with the way it looks! The shipping box was heavy, and I knew it would be a very sturdy chair, and it was easy for my husband to assemble, as he has a lot of experience with this kind of thing. I placed a natural off-white linen seat cushion and a light khaki lumbar cushion, and it looks fabulous and very classy. BTW: If you want to order a seat cushion at the same time, mine is 18" x 16" and a perfect fit. This classic Adirondack chair goes beyond expectations! Highly recommended!

I have always loved Adirondack chairs, they’re so comfortable, and so unique. I have gone through a lot of wooden chairs even when stored inside for the winter, the wood eventually rots. Not with these chairs! They look every bit as good as their real wood counterparts, but these chairs are so much better. They come with a complete parts list and easy to follow directions to assemble. The hardware is heavy duty and they even supply the tools required to assemble. It took me about an hour to unpack and assemble the chair. The only drawback is the armrests are more narrow than most Adirondack chairs, but these are still great chairs and will hold a drink and a small plate, or your book, iPad, or whatever.

To begin, from unpacking to finished chair took me 40 minutes the first time. There's a lot of things this company has done right to make the construction process simple, and I will outline them here: 1) Most of the chair is already complete (the seat and the back). All you have to do is attach the legs to the seat, the chair back to the seat, and the arms to the chair. 2) The chair parts are all labeled with lettered stickers that come off easily when you're done with the part. 3) The hardware comes packed in a card instead of loose in a bag. You know right from the start that you have everything and you know exactly where to go to find the part the instructions require. 4) Said instructions are not written in some form of Esperanto, but in plain English. 5) I could've used my own tools, but I wanted to try out the tools they provided. The T-wrench for the Allen bolts fits well, doesn't strip out, is easier to use than a plain Allen key (although they provide one for meaty hands that can't fit the tighter spots with the wrench) and the nut wrench is pretty standard for one of these kits, but doesn't bend or warp under torque. 6) All the pre-drilled holes actually matched up! This was not some frustrating IKEA kit, but really a simple build. Improvements this kit could use would include providing a square bit that fits the pre-built seat and back hardware, as those do not match the Allen bolts. Everything was tight from the factory, but they will undoubtedly get loose with time. Also, while most of the "wood" edges are rounded and well-finished, there are a few that have their original cut surface and they can be a tad sharp. Those edges tend to be covered after assembly is complete, but pay attention while unpacking and building.

This chair would make a great fit for the patio portion of my house, since it did look kind of empty. I did manage to assemble this easily and quickly since the assembly process was straightforward. I really liked how the look of the appeared to be after it was done bing assembled, I did choose the gray color since it's a simplistic color, there are multiple colors to choose from if you have a specific theme of colors that you are going with. The chair was pretty sturdy, when I tried the chair it felt like it wasn't cheap, and I was satisfied in the end, I recommend this chair.

If I could give this chair 10 stars, I absolutely would! This stackable Adirondack chair is everything I was hoping for—sturdy, stylish, and worth every penny. The quality is outstanding. The chair is super comfortable. While it’s not made of wood, the HDPE material is incredibly thick and solid, giving it a durability that feels like it will last for years, no matter the weather. Assembly was quick and easy, though I’ll admit I skipped the instructions because I’ve put similar chairs together before—big mistake! I had to redo the back legs, but once I corrected that, it came together effortlessly. Lesson learned: follow the instructions for an even smoother setup. I was so impressed that I’m already planning to buy another one. If you’re on the fence, don’t hesitate—this is a fantastic buy. Highly recommend! Update - not only did I buy another chair, I bought the chair pads to match. 10 Stars!!!

Leave it in the snow and forget it. Nothing beats a weatherproof plastic chair. Assembly is fast and easy, most of the chair is preassembled in major components. The color and the surface texture mimic real wood pretty well. The main thing is that the chair is comfortable and not as low to the ground as most Adirondack chairs, making it easier to get in and out of.

This chair needed some assembly. It took around 20 minutes to get it completely done - so not difficult just a little time consuming. The chair looks exactly as the description. It is made out of HDPE material which is fantastic for leaving out in the weather, it holds up to everything. We have several other chairs made out of this material that we paid a lot more for. While this one is not as large or as sturdy as them, for the cost, it is definitely well worth it. The chair is a little bit lower to the ground than our other chairs, and a tiny bit narrower. I’ve sat in it, and I feel quite comfortable with it. Again, this is a quality chair and well worth the cost.
