Ive owned many guitars. This squier tele classic vibe is just as good as a Japanese Fender. The pickups are excellent the finish on the body and neck are gorgeous. I was genuinely surprised. The telecaster came in a cardboard box. And set up extremely well. And it’s a beautiful guitar with the pine body maple neck and butterscotch finish. No need to upgrade it. The pickups are fine. It is a keeper.

This is a great guitar right out of the box. I know how hard it is to find a left handed guitar that any good. This is one of the good ones. It needs nothing. I'll add compensated saddles and locking tuners due to preferences. But nothing was needed to play this guitar. Love it.

Needed a complete setup when I got it, not that surprised but it had a certificate saying it had been set up at the factory. Fret buzz pretty bad, but nothing I couldn't fix. Plays great now. Neck is a beautiful color. Overall I'm happy!

    • Really Nice Mid-grade Guitar

Arrived on time and really well packaged. This is my first Telecaster. Out of the box it plays nice. No fret buzz, but the action is a bit high. A couple minor adjustments and it will play like a dream. The pick-ups aren't the greatest but I don't expect 500.00 pick-ups in a guitar of this price range. I plan on upgrading them as the factory ones are a bit too twangy for my taste. That sound may be fine for some folks, but I'm not a country guitarist. I bought this guitar for more bluesy/ rock songs. I have 11 other guitars from various manufacturers. 200.00 all the way up to 1000.00 guitars. This one, as I figured, falls somewhere in the middle as far as out of the box playability. It sounds really good with the plug-ins I have in my DAW at home. My only complaint, and it's more of a preference, is the glossy neck. Eventually that will wear off and I'll be happier. It just means I have to play this one more than my others for a while. A nice problem to have. If you are looking for a decent mid range guitar then this one is really nice. If you're looking for a good foundation to build on and tweak until you get the sound you're looking for then this guitar is a great starting point too. ... show more
