Great guitar, especially for the price. I gave it a 4 star because when i got it it seemed like every screw was loose. I opened the guitar and found the input jack top screw laying at the bottom. I pulled out the guitar and the input jack wasn’t even screwed on. The strap buttons were loose to the point they were spinning. I was able to tighten the strap buttons and screw on the input jack no problem. I plugged it up and got terrible hums and overtones. I adjusted the pickup heights to fender stock specs(which they were not even close to originally) and the problem was fixed and it was sounding great. The guitar is good, i might just got a bad one. If you buy this guitar, like any guitars it'll need some work. All i needed was a Phillips head screwdriver(#1 bit i think) to fix my problems. It was not hard at all to do either. I would 100% recommend this guitar to anyone, it sounds great, looks amazing, just needed a little tlc. This guitar is also great if you want a project guitar to upgrade, learn about guitar, and guitar maintenance. All in all its a great guitar. You will be satisfied. ... show more

The guitar was difficult to play. The frets were uneven, sharp and past tall. The neck wasn’t worth spending the time to try and straighten. So I decided to spend a little more money on the next model and sent it back. They picked it up, then told me it’s in the warehouse. Ok, fine. A week later I called and the story was it’s in the warehouse but we can’t find it!! Wow! Geeez! But really doesn’t seem to be my problem. Ya lost it. I still have the pick up receipt. I need my money! Anyway, I got the royal run around for months. Literally months. Lotsa reasons why the next week everything will resolve.. next week was more of the same. Amazon would give a gift certificate or something in the past over slightly inconvenienced stuff. Now I feel like I’m lucky to get out with out a lawsuit. What a pain! Amazon is really slipping. King of the hill doesn’t look good on ‘em. ... show more

Not a bad guitar. If you’re just getting into playing you really can’t go wrong with this guitar. In my opinion, it’s a better build project though because it takes some time and effort to get it to a “great playing guitar” state. Crowning and polishing frets, adjusting intonation, and just general set up things you’d do to any guitar. I bought and have since modded everything but the pick ups and enjoy it! (Definitely needs new pick ups and I added cheap locking tuners, now it stays in tune well!) ... show more

People need yo understand something very important about these guitars, they are great for beginners or hobbyists and quite easy to improve on (insert one of a million how to videos from youtube here) im really impressed on how well it holds tune and the feeling on the neck isnt as squared as i thought it would be (its actually quite nice). ... show more

As a player of twenty plus years, I've owned several guitars in my day. This is a wonderful, well crafted instrument. The intonation was set up perfectly, action is dead on, and has a beautiful tone. My only concern was the scratchy neck that felt like sandpaper, and frets seemed higher than normal, but I assure you after playing it for awhile, it all falls into place. Highly recommend this guitar, beginners or pro's. Buy it, you won't regret it. ... show more

Bought this guitar from the warehouse deals and expected some scratches or slight damage, but was surprised when it arrived in perfect condition. It plays very well and the nut width is perfect for my big hands . Another pleasant surprise.
