First of all, these curtains are sooo soft. The velvet-like material adds a lot of texture to the room and makes you want to run your hands down it all day. I didn't notice many wrinkles at all when I pulled it out of the package and just hung them up immediately. That was something I haven't found in a lot of other curtains yet and it was nice to not spend all day ironing it out. They are a great size for what I was looking for, and sit just a few inches above the ground. Depending on where you install them, they could easily touch the ground in most standard height rooms (7ft). I wouldn't say that these are blackout, as you can see in the picture, but they are light blocking to some extent and feel like a good thickness. This didn't bother me because it still blocks much of the light from entering the room and helps to filter it so it isn't as aggressive. I actually really like the gold color it casts throughout my room as I wake up in the morning, and I've been able to wake up much smoother since I got these. Although I was originally wanting blackout, I don't regret this purchase and will be buying other sets. Just be aware that if you're looking for a true blackout set, this may not be for you. It functions well for me and does what I need it to so I'm happy with it! ... show more
