Upon arrival, I was a bit skeptical because they were not as thick as I had hoped. However, once hung, I could tell a huge difference in the amount of heat coming in the window. They do need a good steaming before hanging.

Black out curtains - DELIGHT. These black out light and you can see the sunlight shining through because you can see a hint of red when sunlight hits. The velvet feel makes it feel luxurious and the grommet top slides easily on the curtain rods. Dupe for the west elm! (Except the grommet part, but they feel amazing and black out the sun light) Bought the green color. They are slightly teal green. But beautiful!

I’ve had these for about three weeks now. I got them in green. I love them!! I have them in three different rooms in my house, and at first I was a little hesitant because the green wasn’t the shade of green I had envisioned originally. You can tell in my photos that the green pulls different in different shades of light. To me they are prettiest in a natural brighter light. They are very thick and heavy. I will also note they are a little shorter than stated. Otherwise, I am very pleased with my purchase.
