I picked up this set of 5 lb hand weights, you get two in the set, and I’m really impressed with them. They’re excellent quality and feel incredibly sturdy, definitely made to last. The rubber-like coating is one of my favorite features because it makes them super comfortable to grip, even during longer workouts. They’re easy to hold, they don’t slip, and they have just the right amount of padding without feeling bulky. These weights function as they should and are so easy to use. A few years ago, I purchased a walking pad for my home office. Office Cardio? I nailed it. Lifting weights? Not so much… Recently, I’ve been adding some weights to my health & wellness “rhythm.” Sportsneer’s dumbbells are designed for women, and their 5-pound set seemed just right for this “Begin Again-er.” Here are notes from my experience: 💪🏻 The barbells are coated in durable Neoprene, which helps keep a secure grip even when your hands are sweaty. I like the slight “give” the Neo provides when I grasp a weight. ✍🏻 Note: I wipe the weights down with antibacterial wipes to keep them clean and sanitized when I'm finished. 🟨 Anti-roll technology is a BRILLIANT - the square-shaped ends keep my five-pounders from rolling around willy-nilly. ✍🏻 Note: I have not tried this yet, but you can use the barbells as push-up support if you are so inclined. I need a little more pumping time before I give that a go! 😊 👯♀️ What I like about dumbbells in pairs is that there is always the option to use one or both. Here are some of the exercises I have used Sportsneer for: 1️⃣ Single Weight: Halos, squats, tricep-focused, etc. 2️⃣ In a Pair: Shoulder presses, bicep/hammer curls, walking lunges, bent-over rows, and more. As a “Begin Again-er”, the 5-pound weights were the perfect reintroduction to strength training. These are about the cheeriest, happiest, bright yellow hand weights ever! I love the soft neoprene coating on them and how well they fit my hands. At only 5 pounds each, they provide just enough weight for gentle exercises or for holding while taking a walk. The handles are round and ergonomically formed, but the outer ends are square-shaped, so they don’t roll around when I set them down. This is another excellent product from Sportneer. Everything I have from Sportneer is impeccable quality, and these hand weights are no exception. These weights also come in 2lbs, 3lbs, 8lbs, and 10lbs and are different colors. I love the yellow so much, I wish they offered the whole set in yellow. I would get it in a heartbeat! Love these! ... show more

These are pretty nice. The color is true to picture. The only thing I really wish is that the material was softer. I have pretty sensitive girly hands and at times material can make a difference. These 5lb weights feel very comfortable in the hand. They coated and won't damage your floors. They have great grip and won't slip out of your hands. Each dumbbell has the weight written on one side and the logo on the other. Keep this in mind when ordering that if you are placing these on a weight rack only one side has the weight printed on it. The other side shows the logo of the company. The weight and handle size is great, it's easy to hold, great grip, and comfortable in the hand. I had no issues with it and even with sweaty hands it would have good grip. The ends are not round so this won't roll across your floor. It will stay in place. Overall they are a great set of dumbbells and I'm very happy with them so far. The value is about right, these are not a good value or too pricey. ... show more
