This case protected my phone and kept it dry while submerged for 3 days. I lost my gear while kayaking on Jacks Fork when I got caught in a strainer. I was pinned between the partially submerged tree and my kayak. The phone successfully bailed, leaving me to fend for myself. Unfortunately the floaty attached to the case got snagged on another submerged tree and remains there for 3 days. Minor scratches on the cover have not compromised the integrity of the case. If I ever change phone models, I sure hope this case is available for my new phone. Tough screen controls and facial recognition perform normally while in the case. There are no noticeable differences in photo or video quality with the phone in tue case. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We were headed to snorkel in the Florida keys. I wanted a waterproof case so I could capture underwater pictures. I didn't get the chance to do the underwater test beforehand. And was a little nervous to take my phone underwater with just a wrist strap in the ocean. But luckily it worked great! I like the wrist strap better than the lanyard. I was able to keep my phone the whole time, even during rocky waves. I just kept the wrist strap on and held on to it tight. I was super happy I had it. I love the pictures and video I took with it. The only tricky part is I couldn’t use my touch screen underwater. But I was able to figure out coming back to the surface to switch between video, camera, and zoom. I love this case!! Highly recommend!! ... show more

I got this case for an extended boat trip. It was one of the few waterproof cases with a built-in lanyard that I could find that fit my iPhone 12 Pro Max. It did not disappoint in that area. It is durable, completely waterproof, and allowed me to easily use my phone to take pictures. However, as some reviewers have mentioned, it does muffle the microphone and speaker. Siri could not understand me. But that is not why I bought this. It is great for short term use if you need a waterproof case with a lanyard, but I would not recommend it for normal daily use. EDIT: After much rugged use, the case is getting scratched up. That doesn’t matter except for the part over the camera lenses; it would be better if that part were scratch resistant. Still recommended if you’re only taking photos for fun. I’ve been using this on the beach, and it keeps my phone protected. ... show more
