This is a fun and creative game that’s designed for two players to navigate side by side. What I appreciate most is that you don’t have to be an expert to go through it. They’ve thoughtfully made the levels so it’s just the right balance of difficulty. This includes checkpoints along the way to accommodate older players like me :). This is by far one of the best multiplayer games on the market and I wish they would make so many more of this type of game. It was very creative, very engaging and a blast to play. Highly recommend 10/10.

Loved this game. Played with my spouse all the way through and with my sibling all the way through. Lots of laughs with gameplay so varied you can really play for hours together and not realize you were playing so long. Fast paced story too.

15/10. One of the best games I have ever seen! I bought this for my teens and I to have more games to play together and I am so so glad I did! Honestly the story line and the art throughout the whole game is amazing!! I let them play through it together bit they made sure I didnt miss seeing it so it was still a shared experience and we honestly were all so blown away. I immediately wrote a post about it on my Instagram and Facebook so all my gamer friends and family could go out and get it! My wife and I have been having a blast with Split Fiction on the PS5 lately. It has basically turned our living room into a nightly comedy routine because we spend half the time wheezing at how badly we’re messing up. There is nothing quite like the chaos of her yelling at me for "helping" by moving a platform right as she jumps or me completely missing a shot and causing a total catastrophe for both of us. The game is honestly stunning to look at. The PS5 is doing some heavy lifting with the lighting and the sheer scale of the worlds, but we are usually too busy roasting each other to stay focused on the scenery for long. Plus, the pop culture nods are totally spot on. Finding those little tributes to 80s sci-fi classics or retro arcade games feels like a constant reward for just exploring. It is a total trip and easily the most fun we have had together in years. ... show more

Just finished SplitFiction on PS5, and I’ve gotta say - solid 9/10 from me. The graphics are beautiful, the puzzles are clever, and there’s just enough action to keep it exciting without being overwhelming. It’s built for two players, which is both the best and worst part. There were definitely moments that tested our friendship, but when everything finally clicked, it was incredibly rewarding. It’s one of those games that will make you laugh, yell, and celebrate all in the same level. From the creators of It Takes Two, you can definitely feel some crossover - except this one feels like It Takes Two on steroids. The Friend Pass is an awesome bonus too, letting your co-op partner join for free even if they don’t own the game. If you like story-driven adventures, teamwork, and the occasional “NO, THE OTHER BUTTON!” moment, you’ll have a blast with this one. Highly recommend! ... show more

Best 2 player couch co-op fun for most ages. It's been tough finding good couch co-op games to play with my kids; seems PS5 is all about the online multi player deal and completely missed the market for people that still play together in person. This game was excellent for me and my 10year old daughter. Not super difficult, but gave us a challenge at times. Fun stories switching between sci-fi and fantasy. Mostly split screen with occasional merges. If you liked it takes 2 at all then you'll love this one even more! ... show more
