But if you have smells or maybe mildew in your machine, the instruction tell you how to use the cleaner for that problem. I have the front loader washer, and I run the cleaning cycle as directed with bleach, but I am still getting funky smells in my clothes sometimes. Saw an ad for these and gave them a try. I ran it on the cleaning cycle in my machine and I will say it did help. Left a fresh smell and while I still did wipe the seal at the door after, it was much cleaner! I just used it once so far, but I’m pleased with the results. Not sure about the filters, I’m not sure how to access them.

Splash Spotless washer cleaner accompanying a good disassembly and scrubbing of the agitator makes for an improvement in stains and odors in the washing machine. Splash Spotless by itself is an effective and easy quick fix for occasional odor. Each $17 box of tablets provide several cleaning cycles and is a good value. Recommended.

It makes suds but doesn’t seem to clean anything. The gasket on my front loader was the only thing that looked dirty, both before and after use. So wiped it down while still wet and ran it another cycle. Still had the light grime that it started with this time . So I gave it a good scrubbing to clean it. A week later it had a little buildup so I tried it again with the same results. So yeah, this is useless. I gave it three stars so that people would read the review.

Well, I wasn’t aware that you had to clean the washer but I read something on Facebook and saw an ad on tv so I thought I would give it a try. The very first time I used it I had to do the procedure three times to clean the washer. Now here is the problem. It’s not like I took apart my washing machine to see if it did its job, so I really can’t attest to the fact that it works since I don’t have X-ray eyes to see how clean the tub is. So as far as how good it is..sorry I can’t say. I am just hoping that the manufacturer knows what they are talking about.
