First I didn't intend to order the starter version, so it was totally my fault. But I wanted to return (beyond the return period) and re-order/replace with the "normal" skilled version, but was unable to do that. This one is not very sturdy at all which, for the price, I expected. Totally my fault by ordering the wrong "version", but since I was going to replace it, I wish there had been offered my leniency in the return policy. ... show more

At first we were confused how to play so my grandchildren just said if was ok. However- we tried it another day and all of a sudden it was their favorite outdoor game!!

The Spikeball kit was easy to assemble. It took a couple of times of readjusting the net to make it tight enough for the ball to bounce correctly. It is easy for my 7 and 9 year old to use. It takes bit of practice but they got the hang of it without getting bored. For the price I would recommend this size for younger kids. ... show more

Oversized net is great for kids and larger groups of players. Unfortunately the ball is not bouncing high enough despite tightening up the net or adding air to the ball.
