After over 2 years of abuse, I decided to replace my Samsung S22 Ultra's Spigen case. This time, I went with this clear case that includes a kickstand. I can now see the Burgundy case, and it is really a nice color! Also, the kickstand seems very sturdy, and I like it better than the previous case's stand. Spigen generally makes the best phone cases for Samsung phones. they hold their color for a year + and can withstand multiple impacts. the stand is a little think and may snag on a flat surface (like if your sliding it into a desk) but is very sturdy and fits well into a pocket. my only complaint is the price hikes. they're worth about $15-$20 as they're not quite as good as an OtterBox . so if you can get them on sale, nab one. but if they're asking any more than $20 just get the OtterBox ... show more

OK this is the first time I've tried a clear case, but this one really delivers. They do a great job of protecting the clear back during packaging/shipping, so you just peel that off and boom you're good to go. Fits the S22 Ultra like a glove, and is very slim. Really lets the color of your phone show through. Kickstand is greatness too, easy to open and close and seems very sturdy. I was worried that the case would be too slick, and it is a bit, but surprisingly has a bit of tactile feel to it as well, so it does provide some grip (not a ton mind you). Personally I think it's worth it for the transparent look of this case. So far so good! ... show more

UPDATE after ~10 months: the case definitely turned yellow, as expected. Worse, the plastic side detached from the plastic back panel where the softer side material joins with the harder back material. The case was still usable like this but with reduced protection. I reached out to Spigen customer support with a picture of the issue, and they sent me a replacement case at their expense, which is a completely acceptable result. Compared to Samsung's transparent case with a kickstand, this is much less slippery (good!) The kickstand is smaller with different placement than the Samsung, so it's less sturdy in portrait orientation with the kickstand, and the phone leans back more. The sturdiness of the kickstand in use is universally not great; the angle is a matter of preference. The perimeter of the case on the face is higher than the plane of the screen compared to the Samsung. (Good!) Because of that, using Android gesture control, especially swipe-up-from-bottom-center to open the app switcher, isn't as foolproof as the Samsung case with its lower lip around the perimeter of the screen. Frankly, it's annoying and sometimes takes two or three attempts for the app switcher to come up. That said, I feel more comfortable with this case's protection than the Samsung's because of the height of the lip. My Samsung case broke after 9 months (the hinge of the kickstand just flops around), but I've only had this one for about a month, so I can't speak to its longevity. I expect it to turn yellow like other reviews say, and that's ok. The clear Samsung case also turned yellow after about 7 months. ... show more

Spigens clear cases do eventually start to yellow, like every clear PU case, but when it's crystal it looks so good. I tend to get 1-1.5 years out of the case before it's so yellow that I decide I want to replace it. Case otherwise holds up great. I ordered this case when I first got my S22 Ultra and it was great. It was clear to showcase the phone, felt great, and did a decent job protecting the phone. After about 8-9 months I reordered this case to replace the first. The "no yellowing" is a lie. My first case was brownish yellow and I cleaned it and my phone frequently with phone cleaning wipes. That didn't bother me so much since the case was great, but felt like it was a blatant lie. The worst part of the first case (same model) was the magnet on the back clip was held in place with clear tape when I received it. After about 2months, the tape wore off, and the magnet would fall out. No problem, annoying for sure, but super glued it back in place. Then the glue wore off so I figured why not - case worked great but was yellowing and I don't feel like dealing with repeating this process again in the future (after gluing again). Reordered this case and thought - wow. Phone looks great in it, they don't have a magnet in here held by tape and the hinge seems a bit different but felt like an improvement from the previous (exact same) case model. I was wrong. This is by far worse. There's no magnet, so the kickstand doesn't snap in place like the previous and the hinge extends beyond the angle of the previous so it is too far to hold the phone vertically. That is one of the largest selling points of this case: 1) "No Yellowing" (false); 2) a vertical and horizontal capable kickstand (no longer the case); 3) a clear case w/ great protection (true on the looks, wouldn't want to test the limit of protection). I would look to alternatives at this point, unfortunately. ... show more
