A beautiful case from Spigen that makes me feel the Z Flip 3 is properly protected, so that's great! But the bottom part of this case does not fit right on this phone. If you press in on the cut outs for the USB charging port and microphone you get these sqeak sound which is annoying, it comes from the issue that there is a small gap between the case and the ports. Also sometimes the band does not retract so the case pops off on the top even when I used the including adhesive. Also the band covering the hinge makes a sound every time I flip open this phone. So it makes the case annoying to have on the Z Flip 3... But great protection! ... show more

The case has a sturdy feel but the plastic sleeve that connects the clam pieces does not stay in place. It slips out prevents the flipping out of the phone. Too much inconvenience.

The Good Overall, I'm satisfied with this case, but read on... From browsing around Amazon it seems to be the best choice for a case that is more than light duty. If it could be naturally more snug without adhesives, it could edge into the four- or five-star range. - The hinge protection is a nice touch. I think it's superbly well done, especially how nicely it hides within the case when opened. I do wonder how long that will continue to work so well. This is my first Spigen case, so I'm not yet familiar with the longevity of their products. Again, if/when it fails, I'll update. If you don't hear back, it's still oing strong. - All the buttons work well. Access to the fingerprint sensor is fine. Voice communication seems fine, though I haven't yet had much use of it since putting on the case. Screen is fully visible. Same for the cover screen and it is nicely protected. It would be nice if the cover screen had a built-in protector, just to help with dust, etc. as the cover with its sticky strips does not seem meant to be repeatedly taken on and off. The Bad: - For a product marked as Prime the shipping was bad. It took 4-5 days for the seller to just get a shipping label to the carrier. It took 9 days to arrive. No, not the end of the world, but if I'm paying for Prime I expect no more than 3 days. - I need to do more testing, but wireless charging seems limited with the case on. Once I put the case on, my Ubio wireless charger on my night stand caused the phone to complain that it could no longer do fast charging. For some of my chargers that otherwise worked well with standard charging no longer seem to work well or at all. That's an entire star off. My Note 8 with a basic silicone case had absolutely no problems with the same charging pads/stands. The Ugly: - I read a number of reviews complaining about fit, so I was prepared. In my opinion, now that I've put it on the phone, it's decent. However, it does rely on a few adhesive strips inside the case. I wonder how long those will last. If they fail, I'll update my review. It could be a bit more snug. My last phone was a Note 8 with a silicone case (not Spigen) that was very nice and snug, without adhesives. But overall, for now, I'm satisfied with the fit of this Spigen case for my Flip 3. - It does feel a bit bulky after an initial 2 weeks with a bare Flip 3. But then, it's meant to be more than just scratch protection, so that's more of an observation than a complete. I knew what I was getting into. ... show more

    • Don't buy this case, it doesn't fit

This case doesn't fit the phone properly. The top of the phone is lower than the top of the case. The case is full of double sided tape to try and keep everything together but it doesn't work. You also heat this incredibly obnoxious snap noise when the tape moves every single time you open the case. On top of that is completely blocks wireless charging and the USB C port is almost blocked as well because the cutout in the case is too small. Lastly is blocks part of the flashlight, about the bottom 1/4 so it won't be nearly as bright and I also worry it will mess with the cameras depth sensor. For the price this case just doesn't make sense and I've been using spiggen cases on my phones for as long as I can remember.. it's a shame really. ... show more

The case is nice, sturdy and thick, it looks like it'll protect my GZ-Flip3 very well. Buttons are not covered and are easily accessible. The rear screen or the flash are not obstructed by the case.

    • Sturdy but THICK and SHARP

This case is certainly sturdy and provides the hinge protection I wanted. But, it's VERY thick. Folded the phone is just over 1/2 inch thick (about 5/8 or so at the hinge). With the case, the case is a FULL INCH THICK. I loved how thin the phone felt in my pocked but now I'm second guessing this case as it makes its presence known at a full inch. Also, i was surprised to feel sharp edges on the hinge side of the case. Those corners you see are sharp. Not like they'll cut you, but I've never had a phone case with corners like that. Feels weird. Ultimately...just put it on yesterday but I'm considering a return. For $40, I expected perfection. For this price it should also include an outside screen protector. ... show more

This is a great case to protect your phone, if you have purchased Otterbox prior for phones, it is very similar...(additional size and protection). If you have the Z Flip 3, this is a must have case! Oh, and they give many additional adhesive strips for securing phone to case if you take off/ lose stickiness. Is not very bulky, just right...middle area protection makes the must have case. Build great, buy this then check the others. I wasted money on 3 different cases. Don't be me! Do it right first time off this review ... show more

    • Spigen does it again with an outstanding case

When I bought my Flip 3, the first thing I wondered was, "What kind of case could possibly protect this in a way that I won't worry if I drop it?" Spigen came up with a brilliant design that uses a slipping hinge cover that keeps all parts of the phone protected in any position, and I feel totally confident about it protecting my phone. It's tough, good-looking, feels good in my hand, and importantly, it still can charge wirelessly. A note on installation -- Another reviewer mentioned that it's slightly too big, but this will only occur if you don't snap each end into place while the hinge protector is completely covered by the clamshells. When installing, open it but then press the clamshells together, then snap it into place so that the top and bottom edge of the phone are pressed firmly against the respective edges of the case. I didn't realize this on my first attempt and was left with a gap on the top and bottom despite the fact that the case could still close. ... show more
