  • The case I was looking for since getting my Pixel 7 Pro
Color: Metal Slate
I bought a cheaper case after pre-ordering my Pixel 7 Pro because I thought it would do the job I was looking for (and get it protected from the start), and that was to protect all sides of the Pixel 7 Pro, not just the top and bottom of the screen. As owners of the Pro know, the screen is curved at the left and right edges, and most cases dip below this to allow the user to use all of the screen. However, this is a design flaw much like the Samsung Note, where every drop is at risk of cracking the screen on the edge, since protection is nil there, typically. Now, I've owned Spigen cases in the past for other phones and have had zero issues with dropping phones. Therefore, once I realized Spigen made one for the 7 Pro, I immediately bought it. I saw it had substantial protection of the curved screen edges, which is exactly what I was looking for. Since the curved screen edges act as a pressure point when dropped, as long as the edges are protected, I'm good with it - I don't need the entire screen plane to be protected, necessarily. Of course, more protection means more bulkiness and perhaps inoperability of the full screen. I can say I have no problems using the entire screen still. Those complaining about gestures or moving icons from one page to the next are thinking they must go to the very physical edge of the screen, but you don't. Works just fine for me. Now the case is bigger than the original cheap one I picked up, but it's not overly bulky. It's made the phone a bit heavier as the case itself is a bit weighty for a case. But again, if you want protection, you're going to sacrifice in some other department. I'm ok with a slightly heavier phone if it means not dropping and breaking a thousand-dollar piece of equipment. The kickstand is a nice touch, especially for a phone as big as this, as watching things vertically and horizontally is going to happen. I had another Spigen case that had a kickstand many years ago, I used it more often than you might think. Expecting the same with the 7 Pro. And if you read reviews where the case is "broken" when it arrives. It's not. The case is two pieces (softer/pliable rubber case and a hard shell that clicks in over it). You're supposed to take the hard shell off of the rubber portion and put each layer on separately. The buttons line up perfectly fine; user error if they don't (try taking the case apart and then assembling, due). There's also no smell, I can barely smell the plastic with my nose on the case and smell is my best sense. Oh, and it's not designed or made in China. Spigen is California designed, South Korean-made. ... show more

  • A Perfect Fit
Color: Metal Slate
This is my favorite case so far. It has all the features I wanted in a phone case for m Pixel 7 Pro. Nice tactile buttons, Raised lip, and good drop protection. It has a kickstand as an added bonus. I work in an industrial setting so I needed a tough phone case. I just didn't want one that looks like I'm carrying a brick in my pocket. That rules out something like the Otterbox and some of the other beefy cases. I need the case to protect from smacking my leg against a ladder or getting hit outside my pocket more than drops. This Spigen case checks both boxes and is my everyday case for the phone. Adding this case to the Pixel 7 Pro makes the phone look more uniform. It seems phone makers have realized that most people use their phone in a case. The camera bar is more or less uniform with the back and I can now set it on the table without it being at an angel. The buttons have a nice feel to them. Somehow they managed to make the buttons on the case feel like actual buttons. You can tell the difference between the power and volume buttons with the different feel of both. The power button has a slight ridged feel, while the volume buttons feel more smooth. I would highly recommend trying this case out. ... show more

  • Keeps my new Pixel safe from my butter fingers
Color: Rose Gold
I drop my phone all the time, whether from shallow pockets, clumsiness, or otherwise. Paired with a good screen protector, this case helps protect my new Pixel from all the drops it's suffered so far. It's well made and the kickstand is nice for watching videos. I can charge my phone wirelessly through the case still. Two things that I'm not fond of: - I wish the front would protude slightly further out to provide a bit of a lip for impact when the phone is dropped face-first. As it is, it's flat with the screen which means the right (or wrong?) fall could potentially break it. But that's what phone insurance is for I guess! - The buttons for power and volume can be a bit mushy and I have to really push down on them sometimes. Overall, can't get much more bang for your buck ... show more

  • Think twice about it.
Color: Black
So everything seems really good on the case but is missing some key things that would make it better for sure! Like the rubber in between the cameras would be nice for extra protection (even my wife's cheap case has that) also the volume up and down has no tactical feel to it at all so I have to always look to see where it is as I can find power button np at all and know volume control is below that but would it hurt to put some feeling in that area also??? They say it doesn't wireless charge due to kickstand but did fine in my cars wireless charging area. The rear is a little to slick for my likings also but if you want a tough case for cheap than you have to deal with some issues right? As for the kick stand it's perfect for watching YouTube while chilling with some food or whatever.thw screen seems to be well protected.. my only major thing is listed above other than those it's a great fit and such on a pixel 7 pro! ... show more

  • Really good, but you should know that it's what you want first
Color: Rose Gold
This phone case is really good for those who use gesture navigation. Yes, it's true that the lips on the side aren't elevated, but if you use gestures, lips that protrude would affect the back gesture. I would recommend generally not putting the phone face down, and by doing that, I haven't had any issues (plus I have a tempered glass screen protector). I also did read complaints on here about the case having a strong odor. My case, which was the Rose Gold, had no odor. I think that the only odor comments I looked at (because I really wanted to avoid plasticky smells) were different colors. I bought my phone case a week after the pre-order sales opened, so I think that the Rose Gold is safe odor-wise. ... show more
