I only recommend holding and ID maybe one bill of money folded underneath for emergencies and two other cards of your choice unless they’re extremely thick. If you start to add more the case will start to break and if you drop it with multiple cards then good luck. I buy a couple every years because I drop my phone every single day practically. They hold up really well with my clumsiness and I love the conscience and sleekness of it. I wish it were a bit more durable but I don’t think it’s that realistic based on how clumsy I am and the price point it’s already at. I definitely recommend this product and have been purchasing it for years because I love the sliding mechanism on it rather than a bulky fold wallet. It’s saved my phone so many times. I respect and will love them forever for taking care of my phone when I drop it as much as a toddler.

a great card-holder phone case
Really like this phone case. The navy and black look nice, and it also looks and feels slim. Can fit three cards in this: two cards with flat numbers, and one card with raised lettering and numbering. (I'm tempted to follow the advice of another reviewer, who said s/he cut out a section of the case to make room for a fourth card.) Seems like this case will protect the phone really well, and the camera lenses are also nicely recessed as well. A great design. What I like most is the smooth sleek look and feel of this case. (I hope that, in the first week or two of use, finger oils, dust, etc. will make this case a little less smooth, as it's a bit slippery right out of the box. (I hope Spigen considers a slight re-design, wherein they add a very slight bit of texture to the case.) Overall, a great card-phone case!

Loved it but...
I loved this case. It's easy to hold, easy to use, not too thick, very sturdy for the most part and super protective of my iPhone. I've had it for almost 6 months now and find it great for going to the gym when all I need is my drivers license and my gym ID. The only disappointment has been that I have to take off the case every night to use my MagSafe charger. That was a minor inconvenience until part of the case actually broke because of the torquing of removing and reinstalling the case every day. The bottom rail of the sliding door that covers the card compartment snapped after about two months of use. I've tried re-gluing it 3 times but the point of connection is just too small to stand up to the regular stress of daily removal and reinstallation. So I'm looking for a case that has a similar sliding door compartment but supports MagSafe charging without removing the case. If not for that small weakness I'd have been a 5-star-awarding fan of this case.

Lasted me three and a half years!
I love this phone case! I bought one in June 2022and I’m replacing it with the exact same case three and a half years later. I am super clumsy and drop it all the time, but I’ve never broken the screen! Very sturdy and I get so many compliments on the wallet feature.

Improved materials

I really like this version Spigen phone case. In fact, since buying my first one 3 years ago, I haven’t had to carry a wallet — even while on vacation! It safely carries up to 3 credit cards. Instead, I load it with one visa card, my laminated driver’s lic., an emergency $50 bill, a paper photocopy of my medical insurance card, and a paper copy of my AAA card. That’s it! My deli sandwich-sized wallet sits in my dresser (loaded with baby pictures, long forgotten phone numbers, and a promotional Visa card I got at Woodstock 1999 in Rome, NY). Earlier versions were made from a more brittle plastic that was vulnerable to breakage. The new plastic being used is both more pliable and more protective of the phone if dropped. And it manages all this without being big and bulky. I like it so much I just bought a second one as a backup!

Honestly, for what this case is, it is absolutely phenomenal. It is sleek, it’s not cumbersome, and I don’t think that I could ever go back to a normal phone case. It’s so convenient, I don’t need to carry a purse and I never lose my wallet. This case is one of the best decisions I’ve made, technology wise. Does the slide occasionally pop out if it drops? Yes. Is it an easy fix? Also yes. Even though sometimes I wish it could hold three cards (it can fit two comfortably, three makes it pop out a little) the fact that I can fit it in my pocket with ease and it’s slim is just worth that.

So good I’ve bought them for 5 generations of phones!
These cases are absolutely phenomenal! I tend to be a bit of a klutz with my phones, and these cases are ridiculously protective! Out of 5 different phones I’ve had with this type of case from spigen, I’ve only broken the screen of one and that’s because it fell face down on uneven bricks. I can’t even begin to tell you how many times I’ve dropped my phone and nearly every time I think, “oh great, I must have cracked the screen with that drop this time.” And thankfully I’m wrong 99% of the time. The cases themselves are pretty durable too. I’ve only broken one and that’s only because I tried putting 4 cards in the back and the side cracked. I’ve found that I can push it to hold my driver’s license, my debit card, and a credit card. That being said, it absolutely works best with a max of 2 cards. I recommend this style case from spigen to anyone with any type of smartphone.
