I think this is my 4th Rugged Armor case as I've upgraded phones over the years. Still makes a good protective and grippy case. The camera layout makes for a slightly odd shape for the recessed area at the top, but it's fine.

Case is great but 2 things are WRONG with it. One: In order to use the navigating gesture (left edge to center) to navigate back one page, You HAVE to touch the "very edge" and move towards center. With the raised edge of the case "as is" you can Not get the edge swipe function to work. Two: The case did NOT have the shown and stated sound channel for the under glass top speaker. . To remedy the above 2 drawbacks, is to use a small rotary tool and grind rubber on edge to below the glass level, and too use rotary tool to cut channel like in the photo. . Tip: To decide where to create the cutout for the swipe location....... Hold the case in hand and mark between the the 2 middle fingers where you hold the case. That way when you swipe, you move right indes finger between the 2 middle fingers of the left hand.. You don't have to move fingers holding the phone, and it's easy to find the notch. When creating the Speaker notch, Carefully grind up to, but Not past the high bezel egde of the case, this will direct the sound back towards the listener. . Car Mount > BONUS IDEA: Velcro brand Velcro works Great for a car mount. Get the 1 1/2" x 2 feet roll. (it's made for vinyl and rubberized product) I've been using this method for years and love it. Cut the 1 1/2" wide strip X 2"'s long, and Place the soft fabric Velcro side in the center of the case centered "just" below the finger scanner. This allows you to hang the phone vertically or horizontally on the car dash. Place the "hook" side Velcro on the car dash facing you. (cut to smaller size) Mine is right above the AC vent, which has benefit of cooling the phone while charging when AC is on. The soft Velcro side helps your finger find the scanner quicker, And.... the little extra width at the center of phone back - doe's Not hinder the wireless charging. ... show more
